  • Sprints, What about leg curls for hamstrings. Sprints are better for cardio and fat loss though so they are probably a better way to go :) Sprints then leg curls? damn, dont want to think about that :D

    i think you can... ish when you work a muscle really hard, it uses the nearest fat possible to help repair itself :)

  • Hey Vince! This is really awesome! I have been searching all over to find simple workouts that will tone my legs up but this is by far the best one. I know you have said that doing the same workout all the time day after day..actually decreases your progress. do you have any more videos that work on thighs and gluts?

  • Vince, would use suggest that people swing the arms upward with their jumps unlike what Ms. Flavia demonstrated?

    my legs store the most fat... how can i reduce the size of my legs? am i best to use heavy weights?? light ones dont seem to be doing anything for me.... just bought your six pack quest, bodies changed in a week!!!!! you're the only trainer that gives so much BEFORE you expect the dollars...YOU'RE FANTASTIC its good to be good!!! i'll be good back. cheers MR!!-

  • I like the basic, "do-anywhere" content. Flav said it's a good glute workout... after doing only 2 sets yesterday, I can feel it in my glutes today! Adding more moves for shoulders/arms would be great.

  • Wow. If she had a moderately heavy set of dumbbells on those front squats (Especially after a leg workout the previous day) she can kiss her lower back goodbye. You guys wanna keep your body erect throughout the move (not bending forward). Your elbows should be on the same plane as your knees; never going pass them. Keep your chest up and focus on centering the weight. I'm sure theirs vids on good form. And Vince, your videos are always appreciated. Thanks, man!

  • No food before a work out? I've always heard you need to eat right when you get up so you get out of a catabolic state. What do you think about that?

  • @syntaxerorr just a protein shake or some BCAA will do good for that, as long as theres no carbs because without carbs your body will be forced to use its fat stores for energy

  • @syntaxerorr That's a myth the supplement companies promote to get you to take in more protein. If you want to lose fat, you can train on a empty stomach no problem.

  • @VinceDelMonte will there be significant muscle loss if you weight train on an empty stomach? Also, was Flavia into fitness and being fit before you met her?

I know it probably depends on whether you want to bulk up or get ripped... I don't want to get massive, but rather have around 7% bodyfat (if possible) with a nice toned muscled body

    I read contrary to this, not just from a supplement company, but from your friend and colleague Joel Marion in his blog about eating before exercise. As this conflicting information is coming from 2 sources that I highly respect, you can see how this may be confusing for me. I'm sure you're busy this week, but if you guys can get an answer sooner or later that would be awesome. Congrats and best wishes Vince!

  • @syntaxerorr There are also many people who use intermittent fasting as a way to keep calories low and help reduce body fat. Brad Pilon is the author of such a program called Eat-Stop-Eat and Martin Berkhan is also a guy who has a website with tons of free information and he maintains like 5% body fat year round.

  • @syntaxerorr Eat a small meal is you are going to eat before a workout. Otherwise it'll "Be back." Also eatting smaller more frequent meals helps to increase your metabolism.

  • @scouse77 No. I don't eat breakfast when i train early am. Just coffee and water.

I have to eat literally within seconds of rising and drink about 2 cups (16oz) of water - else I can FEEL the muscle growth from overnight being eaten away. I lose weight too, when I don't eat INSTANTLY after waking. How can I change that?

    I think that's just your body wanting food, it's not like it's eating ounces of muscle every hour, that takes awhile. You're probably just used to eating right after you wake up, so your body is always wanting food after you wake up. Vince says you usually have about half your glycogen stores left over from the day before and will start burning fat before eating muscle.

    Also in the video before this one, Vince says that if you're a skinnier guy you should probably wait to workout
