What was this program? I don't think it was a PH concert.. So what?

It was some festival including artists performing with the Lille orchestra.

Some tracks were broadcast, including this one.

I know PH also performed This Side of the Looking Glass, but i only have the audio from it.

As an encore of the broadcast, a performance of Give Peace a Chance was performed by all.

PH didn't really fit well in Give Peace a Chance, in my opinion :)

Went to Lille with Christina to see PH with the orchestra. PH just did Looking Glass and Traintime (most artists just did 2 songs). Despite being short it was worth the trip.

Peter Gabriel stole Hammill's idea !! Both are friends,be nice if they toured together,WOW what a show that would be ,with full Orchestras and bands !!

I'm so intrigued by the combination of Hammill and orchestra. Did he play any other songs with the orchestra? Does footage of these hypothetical "other songs" exist?

The only other instance that i know of is "This Side of the Looking Glass".

Yeah I've seen that. It just seems strange that an entire orchestra was assembled twice and only two songs were played.

I wrote the date/venue in the description.

Apart from that i can tell you that it was a complete concert with various artists. All the performed songs were backed by the orchestra.

Hammill only performed Traintime.

He performed 2 songs.. The other was Time Heals or This Side Of The Looking Glass, I don't remember which one it was but I think it was Looking Glass.
