I live in Dayton Ohio and usually go to the Airshow but I didn't go that year and I'm glad I didn't so I was one of the first to know via news that he had crashed

RIP Jim.....it was a pleasure meeting him in '03 at the Dayton Airshow along with the other two members of "Masters of Disaster" who sadly were also killed in airshow accidents (mid-air collision at the '05 Moosejaw Airshow involving Bobby Younkin and Jimmy Franklin)....its been a sad week in aviation :(
