Very interesting, i see why some people would want vanilla servers... But only because the game was entirely new and exciting, honestly if i went back, id be bored for lack of luxury, take for instance the thunderbluff zep, if i were to make a hunter alt, hmm vanilla, need to buy weapon skill, gotta get from org to tb, zep? Genuinely eerie, quite surreal, and almost depressing. Looking back, I can remember how intriguing the world of WoW was - not to say it isn't, because Cata gave the world new life - and just how beautiful every zone was. It's sad to know that they're just about all gone in favor of streamlined questing and the ability to fly, and it's even worse knowing that in time, nobody will remember there was an "old WoW" at all.
