The scenery is cutting your breath. You can breath the cleanest air that you ever imagine. Transfagarasan is a must see.

The road is very beautiful but is also dangerous. Drive carefully on Transfagarasan.

@yamahonkawazuki If you do, they forgot to mention that the road is open only from late June to October, or something like that, late summer - autumn, the rest of the year it's snowed in! People take 2 parallel roads to go to Transylvania, which are also nice, but the Transfagarasan is definitely much better! ;)

I am romainian and i was there! i am just 10 but i can explain what is there : the name of this road is transfagarasan or sky scraping road because you can go at balea lake at 2400 meters! it is crossing the fagarasan mountains. its something very beautiful. if you come there you can visit poienari castle but you need to climb on 1000 stairs... next is the vidraru lake with a 160 meters dam. almost 100 km has got this road. Transfagarasan is amazing
