amazing yar...i have watched sholay for not less than 30 times...but never knew the actual end...amazing...but i wonder why did they changed this actual end..??..which make the perfect sense.....i wonder why ???
This ending is SO much powerful and relevant than one shown in movies! Had they shown it, the movie had still been running in halls.
Anyone who has followed the movie storyline ought to agree that only and only this ending makes sense. I was always baffled- how could Thakur leave Gabbar for the massacre of his family. No more baffled now. Thanks a load buddy for sharing this truly rare piece.
Its good that they didn't have this ending otherwise movie would have been flop. Very unrealistic and I think Govt was worried more bollywood industry than emergency in 1975. ..
having seen the original many many times i find it awkward to take this as the ending of the film.......BUT!!!!
being the most ruthless, fearless, and sick villan with no guilt or remorse this ending was probably the most fitting for an outlaw like gabbar singh!!!!
wow man what a discovery, amazing never thought it was gone this way rather say the better end, but as it is cleared by monty chandra this was released during emergeny period so the scene was censor.
It actually got edited because the movie came out during Emergency (1975) and the govt. was worried that keeping a scene like this in the movie would influence young minds to start vigilante justice, take the law into their own hands. Which is why they had to create another ending
ENJOYED IT MORE THAN THE REAL MOVIE.
