@shaiwn If you look up a couple of lines to where it says g(f(x)) = 3(x + 5)^2, this is actually a parabola in vertex form. If you write it as g(f(x)) = 3(x + 5)^2 + 0, you can see that the vertex is at (-5,0) and since the 3 > 0, the parabola opens upward. Thus the lowest point is at (-5,0), so the lowest y value is 0. Therefore, the range is y >= 0.
