  • We agree w/ Daniea3's comment. Cardiovascular exercise is ESSENTIAL for weight management. Strength training alone will not lend itself to weight loss.   • i really love all your workouts. you´ve encouraged me to do pilates regularly. i started last year then dropped off but now i can´t wait to start daily. please don´t take off your videos. thanks again twins. you´re just lovely.

  • is it possible to lose weight with pilates without doing any cardio?

  • Losing weight through any workout without cardio will not work. Strength and resistance training however, will turn your fat to lean muscle. Also, studies have shown that people, especially those over 35, burn more calories if they include adequate resistance training into their workouts...you will burn more calories just by sitting. Good luck! But you will need to ake up some sort of cardio routine to lose weight.even just 20 mins a day.

    im going to add it to the workout im doing now.

    but i was wondering something you said that was your last set because you have to stick to the ten minutes so did you get time to do the entire workout or did you shorten it so it would fit 10 minutes?
