Its not really fair to say that Australian's are racist because Alex was like "i'm whiter" or because there isn't many ethnic girls on this season. Alex genuinely meant it as it applies in the world of fashion. Its true that most models are fair. Plus maybe the more ethnic looking girls just werent good enough this year to make it into the house. And even then Leiden and Kamila are obviously European, so how is that not ethnic also? They just aren't dark.

racism has NOTHING to due with the population (number) of minorities (blacks, indigenous) in your homeland. It has to do with the attitudes towards them in your society. If Australian's are racists towards the few minority populations ie: rude comments about light vs. dark skin then they're racist, population number aside. :)

Also, they are MODELS, which mean they might seem to skinny next to the average person (then again the average person is overweight-at least in US) but for models they have the perfect body. Not trying be bitchy

I know AusNTM takes a lot of heat for girls being too thin but... it's sort of a reality in the fashion world. Look at Alice... she's a stick, but she's doing incredible. If the girls want to enter the modeling business, they need to accept that their 'normal girl' bodies aren't going to work in high fashion scenarios. It's stupid, but it's just kind of how it goes.
