FACTS: 1 - AOC looks awsome, amazing job by the designers 2 - the devs are completly retarded, gameplay is very bad, it has countless problems (not bugs, just bad development), unplayable at a serious pvp level, still, questing and leveling is a lot of fun. I really wanted this game to be a good game, bought even collector edition, but after 1 mounth I had to return in WOW. Shame, it had a lot of potential.
Lol wows new expansion they have outdone the graphics it is now to realistic if you look at the water for a example it look's real and I am not kidding.....

I see no difference in MMO which's basic idea is to get good gear than in guys tuning their cars: both think they have a big dick after you've worked for that. The best mmos character strenght should be defined by character developement itself and gear is merely tool - it should have con and pros. Cloth vs Heavy gear is a typical one, but it could be developed a lot more from that...
I bought the game when it came out.. I loved it.. but it turned me off when a 10lvl character killed me with 1 hit.. My character was 64 lvl.. LOL.. I quit playing since then because the problem with conan almost 1+ year ago was the balance between lvls.. did they fix that?

@1GameataTime tier 1 2 and 3 arent just different raids but different difficulties the guild want the new member throu tier 1 to get used to raiding and get some tier 1 gear before joining tier 2 tier 2 is more diffiicult than tier 1 and tier 3 beyong evrething..
tier 2 gear is better than tier 1 and tier 3 better than tier 2
so no tier 1 2 and 3 will still be used
if i remember right i dont think one single guild in aoc has killed all the bosses in tier 3 yet...

waste thousands of dollars on a good pc... i have a xbox 360 and doesnt make sence to buy a whole new pc that can actually run the game.. they should really cut down on the monthly fees for the game. what is it $18 a month or $10 doesnt really matter which. you need a 2009 computer which is probaly decent for the game and cost thousands of dollars.
One of the main reasons why so many people play WoW are the system requirements. It's a CPU limited game so almost anyone with a PC can play it. AoC has higher requirements so many people can't play it unless they upgrade their PCs. IMO AoC is a much more intresting game than WoW but sadly not available to everyone yet.
@fatfatr WoW has a nice gameplay,too.But after a time playing it,it gets boring.And it takes so long to lvl up to 80...this is really stupid if you want to play with your friends. Thats why Guild Wars' max level is 20. Now I play Age of Conan Trial version.. a question,how long does it take to level up and whats the max level?

@Vembumees By content i dont mean only map size, but the things you can do on this map ( thousands of achievements , about 50 different well scripted and fun dungeons , professions etc etc ) . I 've personally played most of the Mmo's out there but i always get back to WoW ... im not saying that the other Mmo's are bad im saying the WoW has a certain appeal to it :)

Tbh warhammer have been classed as the best PvP game out there atm wow isnt a PvP to 100% its more PvE then PvP. Even if PvP on wow can be fun but wow isnt a PVP game to 100% anyways warhammer is PvP more then a PVE thats why it is so diffrent.

@Seldanas they introduced offline leveling, quite helpful. Once at every 4 days they give you one level, you can give it to any character you want.

I see no difference in MMO which's basic idea is to get good gear than in guys tuning their cars: both think they have a big dick after you've worked for that. The best mmos character strenght should be defined by character developement itself and gear is merely tool - it should have con and pros. Cloth vs Heavy gear is a typical one, but it could be developed a lot more from that...

I bought the game when it came out.. I loved it.. but it turned me off when a 10lvl character killed me with 1 hit.. My character was 64 lvl.. LOL.. I quit playing since then because the problem with conan almost 1+ year ago was the balance between lvls.. did they fix that?

im wondering about this game.. is the leveling decent? like, are the quests fun and do levels go bye fast or is it like WoW and gonna be a grindfest? and i was also wondering is endgame fun and challenging? for PvE, is the raiding easy as hell and everything is tank and spank, or is it fun and challenging bosses that is possible to wipe on? and for PvP is it fun and balanced? lol ty anyone who answers :D

@1GameataTime tier 1 2 and 3 arent just different raids but different difficulties the guild want the new member throu tier 1 to get used to raiding and get some tier 1 gear before joining tier 2 tier 2 is more diffiicult than tier 1 and tier 3 beyong evrething..
tier 2 gear is better than tier 1 and tier 3 better than tier 2
so no tier 1 2 and 3 will still be used
if i remember right i dont think one single guild in aoc has killed all the bosses in tier 3 yet...

waste thousands of dollars on a good pc... i have a xbox 360 and doesnt make sence to buy a whole new pc that can actually run the game.. they should really cut down on the monthly fees for the game. what is it $18 a month or $10 doesnt really matter which. you need a 2009 computer which is probaly decent for the game and cost thousands of dollars.

One of the main reasons why so many people play WoW are the system requirements. It's a CPU limited game so almost anyone with a PC can play it. AoC has higher requirements so many people can't play it unless they upgrade their PCs. IMO AoC is a much more intresting game than WoW but sadly not available to everyone yet.

Even original guild wars map is bigger than the whole WoW map including all the expansions, not to mention the comparement when involving guild wars expansions. Also I think Mortal online has a lot huger map. And Darkfall. And EQ. And probably a lot more. People play WoW more, because it has relaxing, low requiring graphics, and main reason of course - a lot of people play it. Since that's the main argument everyone comes up with.

@Vembumees By content i dont mean only map size, but the things you can do on this map ( thousands of achievements , about 50 different well scripted and fun dungeons , professions etc etc ) . I 've personally played most of the Mmo's out there but i always get back to WoW ... im not saying that the other Mmo's are bad im saying the WoW has a certain appeal to it :)
