Clicker training is done using a thumb clicker when the dog does something good. At first, you thumb click as well as give them a treat when good deeds are done. Eventually, you can ween them off the treat and the clicker lets them know they did good. It eventually backfired on my beagle though, he is now very scared of the noise the clicker makes for some reason...

I'm sure there are very few dog owners that can be with their dog 24/7 BUT if you know you are going to be gone 8+ hours a day and your dog will be at home alone, then it's probably not a good idea to get one. It's a little different if they are outside dogs and/or have another doggie friend though.

When beagles are pups, they usually have very little tan in their coat. In certain black parts, slowly tan will grow in as months go by.

This is so cute.  My beagle puppy hits a DEAD SPRINT for the fridge anytime she hears someone putting ice in a cup, then proceeds to chase the cube around until it becomes a puddle. Must be a beagle thing. SO CUTE!!

maybe... mine was pretty easy.. he took less than 3 weeks to train, he never really had accidents around the house unless they were my fault (not taking him out on time)

Yep. That's because they're hunting dogs and actually get lost in smell. There's so many different smells all over your home and if they find one they like, they can't help but to releve themselves there.

It's a training technique that uses a clicking noise to reinforce certain actions. When the dog shows the behavior you want you click and then give a treat. The dog then is reinforced with the click that the action is the one that gets it a treat. It's just a consistent way of training. If you google "clicker training" you will find a lot of info on it.
