Lets see... auto racing is a sport for rich, talented and brave people. So I believe that music should reflect this aspect, something elegant and timeless. John Coltrane for slow paced editing, and faster fusion jazz for fast paced editing - Miles David will do I believe. Or then you can just use Delta Force theme music.
Crap music doesn't make justice to auto racing.
