  • Both maestros, singing in unison is a blissful experience. These type of magical experiences can happen only in this great and ancient land of India. Hope, our great heritage and culture comes back soon in great splendor, and all people of this great land live in peace, prosperity and in harmony. May God bless India and its people.

  • is it sindhubhairavi :) ...its making me move..!

  • Great complementary singing of the raag bhairvi, called jugulbandi or Saha gayan. Very intricate and pleasant moorkian. Takes years of practice and devotion. Only one flaw, however, may be mentioned, that is, the absence of high range. The two gurus do not take their voices up very high and display their magic at low and medium levels. To get the higher range u have to go elsewhere. Listen to the competition between baiju (ameer khan) and tansen, in the film baiju bawra. The winner takes his vo

  • Sorry please read Saha-gayan and not Saha-vadan

  • This piece of music is called Saha-vadan and not jugalbandi as per my understanding. This is awesome. Very nice rendition by these Masters.

  • they both compliment each other equally and together create a masterpiece that is greater than anything either of them could create on their own

not that what they do on their own is bad or anything, its still amazing, but this is "amazinger"

  • which tone deaf idiot did not like this?

  • balamuralikrishnan bari kutti cheez yaar....

    he is not human!!

  • @soph6ia - Dr. Balamurali Krishna is singing Carnatic and Pandit ji is singing Hindustani.....this is a jugal bandi where two singers sing the same song (raga) in two different styles.

  • Excuse my ignorance but are both they singing in Hindustani, in Carnatic or is Balamurali Krishna singing in Carnatic, Bhimsen Joshiin Hindustani and since it is the same raag its a good fusion.

  • @soph6ia - Dr. Balamurali Krishna is singing Carnatic and Pandit ji is singing Hindustani.....this is a jugal bandi where two singers sing the same song (raga) in two different styles.

  • The raga is sindhu Bhiravai and not Kedar. The equivalent carnatic raga for kedar is Ameer Kalyan

  • wow! so beautiful!

  • @dams0001 Yes. Sindh Bhairavi.

I believe so. I was thinking the same thing.

  • Gods on a terrestrial visitation from the Celestial !!

  • kyabaat hai

  • tooooooo good

  • No words to describe this.

  • I just feel I have died and hqave gone to heaven!

  • Balamuralikrishna is a gifted singer and his voice is gold and platinum in one. Even at this age he sings very well. Bhimsingh Joshi is equally amazing but I love carnatic music more than Hindhustani as there is more variety in Carnatic music....

  • Aravinda

  • Bhimsen Joshi and Balamuralikrishna. Balamurali Krishna did a similar duet performance with Hariprasad Chaurasia. This guy is simply amazing.
