  • Im pretty good at the rooms with flip lines, but i cant stand the moving floors

  • Actually this beta version of this room is much harder because the spiky walls are longer and the lines that flip you shorter. Its simply a case of holding forward with a slight pause at the end on the official release but not on this beta version.

  • @prhdg yeah, i think to make that clearer i'll add 'beta version' to the title, because people don't seem to read the video description where i explain that.

  • Looks EXACTLY the same as the normal version. I don't get it you tried to save yourself from the humiliation of dying so many times on a relatively easy room by lying in the description when you could've just not posted the video?!?!

  • this game is unresponsive to keystrokes. PC either stops too soon or floats ahead too far all the time.

  • @SuperMegaLoser that just must be your heybord. I find the controlls really sharp and I cant blamp them for the deaths.

  • @zephan12 Apologies for replying to a 2 month old comment, but vvvvvv isn't at all like IWBTG. IWBTG prides itself on being unfair, while vvvvvv is always completely fair in its challenges. Difficult, but fair.

  • for this game you need a sensitive keyboard that doesn't make you press hard. this allows you to release your touch more quickly. The components of the movement combos you must do are measured in milliseconds (maybe i'm exaggerating, but it felt that way). This game wasn't designed very well. Really. The puzzles were easy to figure out. It was the execution of the moves that was nearly impossible.  And that's kinda cheap on the designers part. It was a fun and memorable game overall though.

  • @Seabass307 passed this in less that 30s with my Creative Wave, which isn't even a gaming keyboard... so yeah, super easy room...

    the veni vidi vici, sure, this one isn't hard at all.

  • I wasn't talking about this room but rather what ewthmatth said, hence the @ symbol. But yeah this room is not hard, I did this one in less than 10 tries. "Veni, vidi, vici" took me 50 minutes and 150 lives to complete.

  • How is this one different from the official release? Or is it that the mechanics for the bouncing is different, and that's what made the room easier? (I'm being serious, I can't tell the difference from this video).

  • Hahahaha, so stupid. THIS ROOM IS AN EXACT COPY OF THE ONE IN THE OFFICIAL RELEASE. Plus, this room is very easy compared to other challenges.

  • This one was easy. Got it in three tries. The "wires" arent that difficult when you've mastered them.. Though the "Final challenge" was very very hard.

  • It finally made sense after I read the description, I thought this was one of the easiest rooms, but then you said this was the beta.. The veni vidi vici room, though, yeah, horrible. I can't believe I actually sat there for an hour and 400 deaths to get that trinket. Except I think it gives you three.

  • @cosmosofinfinity it took me 3 hours the first time, 2 hours the second time; i didn't do all the optional stuff though

  • I was on the beta for this (and still only have the beta) and did this room easy weirdly enough the one I died on the most was Spikes do, its the one where lies fire across the screen yet no one but me thinks that one was hard

  • @adamantchese yeah, in general some of the mandatory rooms were made easier, and the optional ones (for the shiny trinkets) were sometimes made harder -- the beta also had no special challenges like the part where that crew member followed you through a series of obstacles

  • @ninjablooper check the dates. this vide was made in nov18, which was an early beta. in that beta, many rooms were much harder, including this one. this video is one of the reasons terry made that room easier.

  • What did he do to it. Did he change the physics?

  • @ninjablooper i believe he made the distance between the 'pillars' of spikes larger, and one of the pillars shorter by about a tile or so

  • Oh I see it now, the columns are much closer together. After seeing your video I played the game and passed this first time, unlike some other dastardly stages. So, in other words, thanks for dying so much! :D

  • i suggest everyone try to complete the "vidi vidi vinci" challenge. it will make you much much better at the game.

  • @viviones your right, i died more on that one than any other as well, but once you figure that one out it's actually fairly easy. there is a pattern involved. my hint would be that there's more jumping involved than you might think.

  • Haha Paul, I just got to this room, and I was like "OH NO! The room from Paul's video!" and I beat it in 7 tries. I got lucky with reflex. I died many more times on the 6-circles part in the corridor a bit before that.

  • M is for murder? I hit 350 deaths on my first playthrough there.

    Next playthrough #1 was Veni, 300+ deaths...

    But the room I most hate is That's Why I Have To Kill You.
