People rag on Lucifer, but it gives you the short powerful combos of Gilgamesh w/o slowness. If you upgrade Lucifer to add the "FLOATING SWORDS" you can stack em 6 DEEP before they explode. "Smokin Sick Hot style, without having to switch styles from the norm!

I love the DEVIL BRINGER for its snatch moves, but Pandora with just the first few commands is enough to bring down flying enemies, like the shadows, knight-angels, flying sword-birds. Hell-hounds best looking enemy period!!!!

Press Circle (don't know the command for the Xbox, just use the style move button) to transform Pandora into that form and then press Circle again to have it fire all projectiles at once. Take notice that you have to have your Disaster Gauge (The purple bar between the 2 health bars, it fills up by using the Pandora) about half full and that this move will deplete it.

well lucifer is prttey well to use but giglamesh is kinda slow so i use anything fast to kill off enemys

actually giglamesh is fast after u've upgraded it to have all attacks just don't chagre with it and it's about as fast as using the rebellion

@CurseMarkSasuke0 Gilgamesh should've had an upgrade ability that allows it to instantly max-charge the way the Exceed does to truly flesh out its effectiveness.

@CurseMarkSasuke0 Me as well. It's pretty much a rehash of Greywolf, but it's way cooler-looking. Very much befitting Dante. (Also, canon-ly speaking, Greywolf is/was in Vergil's possession.) And it's still very highly effective in melee (also, when charged all the way up it dispenses immense amounts of damage).

you have to fill up the purple bar (I jump and use pandora over and over)Then fire so it is just like the cutscene!

You gotta get that pink bar up to max first (it's between the health bars) then once thats done, activate gunslinger stance, press b then fire away.

Pandora and the Devil Bringer are what makes DMC much more AWESOME.

I'm not saying DMC 1,2 & 3 are not good, but you don't have massive weapons like Pandora.

That's probably because you're being a bum and not having at least half a disaster gauge. It's possible to fire two full salvos if you have a full one, plus 2 more. But if you don't have enough, nothing will come out.

Lucifer is a lot of fun and works on just about every enemy in the game (bosses included) Can't wait to see what weapons they create for part 5 =]

@ryujay05 PC can probably out-do the X360 if you have a high-end machine, because the console version is locked in its maxims towards the console's specifications, on the PC the limit is by far further away so they allow you to push the envelope far further.

Lucifer and Pandora, haha. My favorite combo as Dante. Maxed Gunslinger and Swordmaster, I mostly hang out in Swordmaster, filling the roomful of enemies with energy swords and pounding them with bazooka fire until I've built up enough in the disaster guage to cut loose with Pandora. Amazing and stylish strategy that works on just about everything but bosses. =)

Need to fill the disaster gauge and then hit Circle/B when you're in the air. To open it you need level 4 Gunslinger. Blade attack is (lock on) back+circle/B.

it says 666 forms but...yeah you can only use around 6 forms. the explosive bow, boomerang,rocket launcher, BIG ASS laser, chain gun(it changes to a chain gun when your in the air) the floating thing, and a special move(dante kicks open the pandora and the light kills everything on screen)
