Nope, not alternate, but additions.

If you get below 75% items, the short ending is shown.

Once you get between 75-99%, an extra clip is shown (showing Samus in the Zero Suit)

Once you get 100%, the final extra clip is shown, right after the credits.

It had been like this only for the Prime series.
