@echo1er - There are a lot of ways to cook it, my favorite being to cut it thinner, pound it out with a kitchen mallet and then into strips. Dredge the strips in flour and egg and panko bread crumbs and deep fry till golden brown served with lemon and tartar sauce. It will keep in the freezer for a long time (like in most stores) but fresh is better.

@smats42 - They can be very aggressive and I would think that they could pick you apart easily for breakfast if you went in and they ganged up on you. The tentacles have individual suckers, each with teeth that cut into your skin and make you bleed as they hold on. Yes, they are LEGIT.

@wmkboba Yes, they are very aggressive. I posted another video recently showing the contents of one of their stomach. You can see (among other things) bits and pieces of other squid. Their tentacles will grab on to anothing within reach and each sucker has its own set of teeth.

Yes, they go nuts when they get on deck and when they are brought into the boat, hanging over the side. It's a good idea to let them ink in the water until they are clean before bringing them on board.
