I own an '06 Liberty and I like the '08 redesign, but I still like mine more because it's what I'm used to. If/when I own the new one after a while I'll probably like the redesign more. I remember not liking the Liberty when they first came out because I really liked the Cherokee. Bottom line is both the older and newer Liberties are so much more versatile than any other vehicles in their class. They're good on road and great off road! I recommend one to all my friends.

I have a 2008 liberty. I do take it offroad. The one thing i does need is a lift. i put a Rock Karwler 3.5 lift on it and it looks mean now.

I want to buy a 08 liberty, BUT this vid makes me wonder which transmission should I chose... those in the vid are automatic guys. this new transmission should have a sequential option like the grand cherokee. but how to switch to the sequential option if there isn't a (S)equential position? (i.e.: VW automatic cars). I suppose this car changes gears itself and you can just... "help" it change when you want to, but without an option that prevents the car from changing gears itself. ok, a mess

dad just bought a 08liberty a while back, and I've been driving it everywhere...I've totally fallen in love, most comfortable, functional vehicle I've ever been in...and believe it or not great gas milage! I live in Alberta, and never get stuck in the snow or slip on off road trails.

awsome stock sound, and lovethe peel back roof. Think I'm gonna buy one for me self.
