actually i think he is not zooming. he's probably cropping the image because he took photos instead of a video.

@japanbrats it's quite simple because you use a tilt shift lens to do this. you're just tilting the lens so that the sensor changes position and thus the depth of field.

Then Some video Editing Software

Then just do some color correction

I think this technique is called "Tilt Shift".(I rather don`t try to explain- have a look at wikepedia for more details)

I guess he used a special lens for the video.

@fullmoviestation i think it has to do with the focus in the middle horizon of the video. notice how the top and bottom are slightly blurred but the centre plane is very sharp. it looks fantastic.
