I remember Chris Benoit carrying Batista through a pretty good match and thinking "Batista's not bad" but I was naive and stupid because benoit was carrying him. Hogan knows how to have 1 match: back and forth, then hogan goes down, comes back, hulks up, big boot and leg drop.

His matches with Andre, Savage, Warrior weren't horrible story wise, moveset wise, and overall entertainment of the match itself, all of hogans matches are boring as batshit. But if you think of the feuds leading to it, and think beyond just the moves being performed, Hogan wasn't TOO bad. I've never been a fan of Hogan matches, to be honest, because as you said, he gets his ass kicked, hulks up, points, shakes around, boot, legdrop and it's all over. Sounds eerily similar to Cena atm...
