I just realized that air, ironically, is potentially the most lethal and destructive bendable element in the Avatar universe. Alright, let's say I was an Airbender in combat. Instead of using air as a shield or kinetic brute force, I could defeat any opponent in seconds by manipulating the air in his body. All I would have to do is suck the air away or make his/her lungs explode.

Fun Fact: Airbending is the strongest element among the entire elements. The reason why is because Air is the composition of fire and water, without it both of these elements can't be created. And for Earth, Air is more elusive able to dodge Earth and erode it all the way. The only reason why they were annihilated because they are too soft. So as I said before Air is the strongest element. :)

Without any other air (besies the air that comes from trees) The livng creatures would die? And they give off carbon dioxide- which trees need. So the trees die, and no more oxegen. Which means no more fire and to some degree, no more earth.Water would still exist. I think the whole point of Avatar was to show that all the elements were equal, and when you try to say otherwise, you create unbalance

You know they're making a sequel series. It's called Avatar: The Legend of Korra, and it focuses on Korra, the Avatar after Aang as she learns airbending in a place called Republic City. She even learns airbending from Aang and Katara's son, Tenzin. Gotta say, can't wait.

Seriously, the critics will say crap about M. Night Shyamalan's movies no matter what it is. And the only reason fans gave it a bad review is because they freaked over a tiny little change. But the beggining of "The Last Airbender" was really choppy and it skipped a lot of parts. Most people who haven't watched the cartoon would've had a hard time following the story. But the movie is good!!

If i had to choose i'd be an Earthbender cuz theyre just so badass. whats more powerful than earth, not in terms of how much you can do damage with it, but sheer power as an element. thats the thing we STAND on. but Airbenders can bend indefinitely. Earthbenders need earth, Waterbenders need water, and Firebenders need warmth if memory serves. Airbenders just need the element we live on everyday. That makes them the most practical bender.
