This arrangement of Chick's tune is great! Al's emphasis on the main motif coupled by the tight rhythmic meter does this song major justice. Without a doubt remains my favorite version -- awesome!
The volume increase during the lead at 8:44 (turning up the neck pickup) is a great, simple, signature effect. I love it!. Al does the same in the song Casino at 3:39 (for instance). GREAT STUFF!
