@kylieKatabasis no. buddy holly is for all ages. including myself which i am too under 18. it doesn't matter, like i said buddy holly is for all ages.
Since the bible says plainly "Mar 13:32 "But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone."
How can you set any kind of date? Why give scoffers any more cause for their blindness? Predicting dates for the sake of a little sensationalism makes God look like a liar.
Just goes to show how powerful his voice really was! The fact he could sing really quiet and low in songs like what to do and everyday then switch to powerful high pitch numbers like this one! Amazing!! :O) nice post!
@charlyW34 I'm glad you enjoy this song, however the only change I made was to amplify the volume. This is from a cassette tape I purchased in the 80's.
@Hikikomori013 You got me to thinking, I think the order was something like this: Cylinder Phonograph Acetate Phonograph Record Discs Wire recorder Reel to Reel Tape 4-Track Cartridge 8-track Cartridge Cassette Tape Cartridge VHS Tape Cartridge CD Digital Devices
"Music's been going down hill ever since Buddy Holly died." --John Milner from American Graffiti. =) I'm only 27 but since I was a damn child I've been telling my family that I was meant to be a teenager in the 50's and 60's for the LOVE of music like this.
Why can't music be made with such emotion like this anymore? It's all lame poppy bullshit that sounds the same now .. r.i.p buddy holly.. the last musician to use powerful emotion like this was Kurt Cobain .. r.i.p
im 20 years old. I bought a Fender Stratocaster because I wanted to sound like Buddy. I play songs like rip it up,peggy sue, good rockin tonight because that is real rock n roll. My 2 favorites are Chuck Berry and Buddy Holly! My favorite band is the Rolling Stones and they are what got me into blues and rock n roll! Gold Rings on em all man!
LOVE this song, One of my favorite Buddy Holly songs. I just adore him. Its one of those songs I've always secretly wished someone would dedicate to me some day :D
@OmHaver Buddy was an amazing artist! I often ponder what would have happened with his career if the crash hadn't happened. Also Lubbock, TX as I am from that area of TX. He was planning on launching his own recording studio in Lubbock.... Lubbock could have been another Austin, TX! :)

Hey Lordis, nice job. the reverb change you made works very well! For once a creative NON-destructive use of digital toys.

What is a cassette tape?
martindb3 7 months ago
@martindb3 That's the technology that replaced reel to reel. And before you ask, that was the successor to the wire recorder.
