  • him and tung were the best boxers

  • While watching this I can feel and almost see the energy flowing through his body, it must have taken years of study to perfect all these moves.

  • Just watching this demonstration helps relieve stress. There's no doubt in my mind that the fluid movements and relaxation involved helps to release the "bad" energy within the body and mind. It's amazing that he carries out all of these fluid movements for as long as he does. The Yang Style Tai Chi form is obviously very peaceful. I see Fu Zhongwen lived for 91 years, wonder if this had anything to do with it?

  • Watching the video made me feel calm. I was so intrigued by his fluid movements and the way he moved slowly and with so much ease. I tried following him but since I was concentrating on him I could be in the moment but I liked how it felt moving my arms and body. I also liked how in the end he placed both his hands together like a bird and then released them. I thought that was like freeing all of the bad energy and getting back to center. Great video!

  • Watching this video of Fu Zhongwen can be compared to a successful version of relaxation via osmosis. This was far more effective than any of those childhood attempts of learning via osmosis (sleeping with books under pillows) right before a test. It was as if I absorbed the effects through watching. What a graceful art he has practiced throughout his life & dedicated his life to.

  • Zhongwen is amazing to watch. He looks so at peace as well as relaxed and graceful. I can certainly see how this would help the energy flow through our body and how it can help us become relaxed and mindful. Thanks, I really enjoyed this.

  • This video demonstrates how mind and body can act as one through the art of Tai Chi. I wonder if the benefits of the activity are dependent on the level of skill of the person performing it, or if the same benefits apply to all people who practice Tai Chi, even beginners.

  • I found the video with Sifu Fu Zhongwen very fascinating and surprisingly relaxing to watch. I can imagine how it could be a relaxing art for the person performing it.

  • Wich routine is that?

  • This is excellent, thank you for the chance to see this form. Also, think of this man's age, size, and then look at his feet and how he creates his hands via the waist. A Master.....

  • To advance one must first retreat. To retreat one must embrace humility...To grow the seed must die of itself...

  • Fu Zhongwen had a HUGE reputation for doin it for real and never declined a challenge and were not talking pushing hands here. He fought for real against many from all kung fu schools.

  • like who

  • His Taichi is ok, Better than his Son Fu sheng Yuan.

  • impresionante

  • I learned from Fu Zhongwen in 80's in Shanghai. His form is for real practice and not for show. What Fu Zhongwen played is exactly Yang Chen Fu(the third generation) played. If you watch Yang Chen Fu's photo, the form is the same as what Fu Zhongwen is doing.

I was in "Yong Nian" club in Shanghai. I do not know if the club still exists.

  • This is a great opportunity to see excellent Yang Style tai chi, too bad his son that lives in Australia is not even 1/2 as good as his father. Look at the knee angles of Fu Zhongwen and look at the anglee of his son, not the same. Also his son uses to much shoulder.

Sorry but I'm sad that the knowledge wasn't pass as a complete whole.

  • search heaven man earth taiji for more real yang taiji.

  • The knowledge has been passed on! Check out Fu Qing Quan, grandson of Fu Zhongwen.

  • The real stuff, a true kung fu legend - no secret family nonsense even in his 80s he was still formidable.

  • Not hard enough? You are aware tai chi is an internal art? The power is both invisible and very soft. Study tai chi and you may eventually come to understand this. My form is similar and I have thrown a 230 pound man 10 feet while remaining light as a feather through the proper use of sensitivity, timing and chi. In sparring I have weathered ferocious attacks while remaining light as a feather. There are many hard styles - this is not one of them.

  • Awesoem VINTAGE Tai Ji from a Classical master, not a showman

  • Thank you very much. That's the same form as the posted Yang Sau Chung video.

  • Thanx again for posting!
