Of al lthe years I have been playing this song I just realised I never actually saw the video. The song is incredible but I have to say this video is boring. The song deserved a magical, mysterious and excellent video.
I loved the songs Thompson Twins wrote for her on this album (I want that man and Kiss it better) and Briteside is incredible too ! I wonder if she is still friends with Thompson Twins ? I remember seeing her in UK newspapers being photographed around London with the Twins (and their kids) a number of times around this era.
Definitivamente, la mejor canción de Def Dumb and Blonde. No tiene muchas buenas, así que no es un gran mérito, igual el tema se la banca. Muy linda la letra.
this album is incredible and chris stein is right if it would've had blondie on it instead of deborah harry it wouldve sold so well. i never got why it didnt break out in the states. i love all debbies albums...debravation though...ohhhhh my there was something going on there...strike me pink is my fave from that one. love you guys. e.
if anyone has ever seen the tv show WISEGUY thats where she first sang this song made its debut there and have been sooo in love with this song every since then and that was back in 1988 and it still kicks ass shes been incredible since day one and always will be
"Deaf, Dumb And Blonde" has everything Blondie fans - both old and new - can expect. It's her very best solo album and on par with the great Blondie albums. There are so many fantastic tracks in it: "Brite Side", "Sweet And Low", "He Is So", "End Of The Run", "Kiss It Better", "Calmarie"... check it out, if you haven't yet!
Wow! Amazing to find out a video was made for thos song. Reminds me of the B52s 'Deadbeat Club. As someone already noted, this is one of her brightest moments as a solo artist.
this is my favorite of all Debbie Harry songs!

Superb track where lamentation and vulnerability linger throughout. As good as 'Atomic' for longevity.

@ricardovmonteiro i would say the best solo effort would be rockbird or necessary evil.
