Yes, if your staging a pantry that is full of stuff and in disarray – then it will be useful to clean and organize it. Potential homebuyer’s need to see each space of a home cleaned and organized.

If staging the kitchen, do we really need to minimise the contents of the pantry? People shouldn't snoop at our food, surely? I realise they would be checking for pantry space, but would they really judge the kitchen based on what is stocked in our pantry?
