@andrea22borman your not getting it i gave you the code for the program in paid version just add the code! This has nothing to do with your camera at all. If you don't get what i am saying to you thats fine. Like they say you can't teach old dogs new tricks!
What is Camtasia studio 7? Is it a plug in web cam? My laptop a Netbook with a built in web cam and I can also record videos off line ,although I need to be on line to upload them to video sites. But I could also turn the built in web camb off and attach a separate plug in web cam,if I wanted to. Andrea.
@AlbertaCanada420 Camtasia Studio 7 records your desktop so you don't need to point your camera at the computer screen. When you record you can have a option of using your computer camera in any corner of your video. It will record desktop sound and your voice if you like! I use it all the time had its handy it has a editor for it all in one. Download it and try it. Here is the code for it in full version:

So I would much rather just buy a plug in web cam,so I can turn my built in web cam off. As if I uninstalled my web cam and then wanted to re install,I would have to pay for it. Use Camtasia Studio 7 to record your desktop and your webcam at the same time! It beats the hand held camera trust me!
