  • i have these bikes and i made traveles for all mi cuntrye, you can see an a video dangerus put no for mi, (from argentina(

  • Do you think i could register one of these in EU (Netherlands)?

  • How many of those were unthrottled :D

  • hi im 15 from uk and the stupid scooter things are really big over here for 16 year olds i want a honda z50 for on the road dont no what rules u have down under but in england its 16 on l plates my mum says no coz they look dangorus but i love them are they worth the money and aare they fun and nice to ride >??

  • They are a blast to ride. Many of the owners ride 600cc and larger bikes but still love the Monkeys and Dax's.

We just had another ride two weeks ago.

In QLD, you need an unrestricted car license for the 50cc bikes or a motorbike license for larger than 50cc.

Learners can curently start at 16 years old. They then get a provisional license.

Before you can apply for a motorcycle learner licence, you must hold a provisional or open car licence for at least 12 months.

  • Hi. I am 15 from UK also, i had alot of little motor bikes and big bikes. They are quite dangerous yes, but are very fun to go for a wee cruise about.

I am moving to Australia and i am going to get a bike there also.

I would get a car first thought ( UK weather ) lol.

  • @fredthefanny same here man! nobodys gunna stop me mwhahaha :P

  • i hope to be at the meet nxt weekend with my j1 z50

    see ya there

  • Hey man, just wondering if you know if it is possible to register the Z50AK2 Minitrail?

I am mad keen to buy one and register the thing after seeing this! I had no idea that these little bikes could be registered. Thanks for any help you can provide. Oh, and do you know of any for sale?

  • Damn i wish my Z was compliant lol. Anyone wana give me a frame? :P

  • i dindnt think you could legally ride these in australia?

  • Abolutely you can register them. The pre-1975 bikes just need to be compliant with lights, horn etc. I think they also must be on an import register of some sort (Frame numbers). The post 1975 bikes that have ADR compliance plates have no problem if compliant and safe etc.

  • brilliant now much does Z50J go for these days? I used to have one when I was a kid, are they hard to come by? now that I know you can legally ride them on the road it would be worth while getting one for day to day travel.

  • this vid is so coo i didnt know there was even a monkey scene in australia... i live on the gold coast and am wanting to import a honda chaly from japan

  • Dasubi. Go to the aussie monkeygarage web site. There's talk abot CF70 Chaly's on there. Some members have one.

  • I got me 2 Chalys in Perth.....along with A CT70, 2 ST70s, 7 Z50s + more

  • best ride ever carnt wait for the next one ( adam blue shirt red monkey bike)
