Gotta love marketing. What's next? Federal Premium: Modern Warfare Edition hollow points? If you own a gun and buy this ammo just because it's labeled as "zombie" ammo, you might as well just use it on yourself. If you want REAL self defense ammo, nothing beats Winchester PDX1 Supreme Elite's. I've shot those at the range with my G23 and they're super accurate.

People who said that it is unwise of Hornady to market this ammo in this way, were referring to the damn prosicuting attornies office and the pinheads that work there. If you don't have a castle doctrine law, then you are already fucked, no matter what you use. Use some JHP "defence" ammo and it's "Jury, this ammo is designed to kill! There are prosecutors, jurors, and judges looking for any reason to put you in the slammer for a long time. Aggressive prosecutors look for ways to make you look reckless, immature, and a little odd and this commercial plays right into that.
