  • Awesome scope! Took it out for the first time the other day, zeroed to 100m, fed the ammo info into the calculator, set up the Turret rings, dialed it to the 400m marker and nailed a steel plate 400m away in the mountains.

I had to laugh at some of the comments on here though. There's a good reason why they (Swarovski, Zeiss, etc.) retail at the prices they do... I would personally rather buy a decent, yet affordable rifle, but would I never buy anything else but exceptional optics and ammo.

  • It does work I have one and the glass is second to none, but it looked like they showed the 100 yard shoot over and over again.

  • The side focus is a parallax adjustment and one can still shot accurately at 200, 300, 400 yds without much of a noteable difference without changing the side focus, depending on you good your shooting form is. I do wish the option was there for more than one revolution of the ballistic turret.. Overall it is a great system on a great scope.

  • Nice shooting Rob!

  • This video is edited. If you look at 3:50 and also 7:37, its the same target and same shot. Why not just test the scope properly rather than fobbing potential customers off. If your doctoring the truth with your 'how to' video, how do we know that the scope is worth buying..

Think i will stick with schmidt & bender.

  • does that particular scope shown in the video have a 44MM or a 50MM objective lense?

  • Swarovski was definately on to something with this turret. However, The Outdoorsmans took this scope to its' full potential by replacing the BT with a single custom etched zero-stop dial. You give them the cal., bullet weight, bal. coef., velocity, avg. elevation, and where your rifle is zeroed and you have a reliable, easy to use custom turret. All that is removed is the gray BT rings. The new dial fits perfectly in their place. Very easy to install. Accuracy is dead-on.

  • @LRSHOTS The Outdoorsman turret is a great invention. However it does limit you to the particular load that the turret is programmed for. It does make it very simple which is probably a good idea for someone who can't focus long enough to remember what yardages he preset the ring markers at.

  • Parallax adjustment did not take place (says 100yards alla the way) even if the distances supposedly vary from 100...400yards ;) LOL... and personally I think anyone that would fit a 3000 dollar Swaro Z6i sight on a 500dollar piece of junk like a Remingtom whatever model.... is a moron.

  • Complicated controls!

  • Great video, great presentation GO SWAROVSKI!!

  • what the f*** is this fake ass shit!? you really think people are stupid enough to believe this BS? yeah im sure this scope will work like that but the 3:52 shot and the 7:37 shot are the exact same one.all you did was change the sounds of the rifle.next time keep it real...it could possibly help you make more sales.

  • this was hilarious. i have swarovski z6i 5-30x50 bt and it really works like they said on vid. This video was kinda strange but they didint talk about shit =)

  • great scopes but this add total bullshit.!!! sorry swarovski get some real shooters there i can even smell shit coming through the screen not impressed

  • great

  • you never changed your yards all your shoots where 100 yard shoots. I do not buy this s**t. GET REAL........

  • @killlerr2 Yeah, I was "bamboozled" by that too... If you look carefully you can see the smoke from the previous cartridge wafting up when he opens the chamber, indicating that they havn't cut the video and altered the range, and then he fires the next shot, supposedly AT a "different" range! Weather or not they're just trying to simplify the video process just to get the point across I don't know? Good to see he's safety concious and uses the 'safety catch' though!

  • @killlerr2 Ya, swarovski is a bunch of fakers...... LOL

  • I noticed he never changed the SF it stays at 100 yards???

  • @phoenix1916

    what is the SF?

you think this scope don´t do great work?

  • @benjaminsa1 this is probably the best scope u can buy, its the side focus, that u adjust at 100 yds and so on!!

  • @benjaminsa1 seriously OMG why bother asking lmao

  • @phoenix1916 The SF turret you are referring to (that stays at 100) is there as an easy adjustment for long ranges, should you wish to use it... You do not HAVE to set it for each distance. My Z3 doesn't even have an SF and works just fine. It's just an extra on the Z5 for those who want the kitchen sink included - and who would generally blame their crappy shooting on technology.
