  • This would also make a great tabletop fan/air circulator for when your electricity is knocked out, especially if you live in a hurricane zone.

  • What a joke when I can get a 1600 cfm model from GAF that does better air replacement than that 500cfm solar fan. You would need three to do what one fan can accomplish in a 3200 sq ft attic. I install attic fans for a liveing and wouldnt recomend one of these they are nothing more than a glorified turbine with slightly more cfm than a properly installed 14 inch turbine. No bang for your buck and your A/C wont be reduced as significantly as with a power unit made by the same people.

  • hi, where can you buy this fan?

  • Would like to see a comparison of this vs a 120V fan in airflow. 12.5W seem like a small motor vs. 400W for a regular 120V fan.

  • Would make a great camping fan! Especially if you encorporated a battery in the mix for those hot summer nights where a fan is the key to getting a good nights rest we have a lot of people living outdoors today and could use this for survival.

  • Mine never made a difference in my attic temp so I took it back!!! Booooooo!

  • - @ Micah421 -

I didn't have a solar one, mine was 120 vac, but the fan wasn't able to push air effectively through the vent because it was blocked due to the design of my gable vent.

    I also took mine back.

  • please post more info about it. thanks
