  • So did that "Funny in Farsi" show never get picked up? I remmeber reading mainstream articles talk about it about a year ago or so, but I've never heard anything since then; I was looking forward to it.

  • LOVE U MAZ

  • this is very inspirational for me, Im Kurdish but i always say im Iraqi or Persian cuz of all that shit going on at Turkey, But fuck that im a Mountain Kurd and im god damn prod of it!

  • @JizzMilk Never forget, when Kurds start calling themselves anything but Kurdish, then they win.

  • @mehinsdale thank u that means allot to me <3

  • Lol, millions! What a lie!

Jobrani stick to the comedy please. Long live Islamic Republic of Iran.

  • I love this!

  • As a Pakistani American this video clip meant so much to me. Someone before my generation experiencing this makes me feel a lot better

  • 3 racists has been watched this too

  • Thats right maz

  • Bravo Maz, we love you because of your talent and specially for being a real proud Iranian. Keep on the good job.

  • The US needs to support the Green Movement. The do NOT need to be involved in nation building in Iran but do need to support Iran choosing it's destiny. They chose a Belgian parliament before and did alright with it.

  • that shit with the girl just turning around and leaving as soon as she finds out I'm Iranian happened at least 20 times to me in Toronto.

  • @Soroush84

relli??? i live in toronto, but I never thought that would happen :(

  • @rose7art my sister: "only three types of men can have fun in Toronto: white guys, black guys, and RICH middle Easterners" it's sad that race matters, but it does.

If you are a girl, you can never understand how horrible it is to be a guy with an accent in Toronto. I've travelled all over Europe too, some cities there suck too but anyways, yeah, Toronto sucks to be a heterosexual man.

  • @Soroush84

im iranian, & have a lot of iranian friends but that doesn't seem to happen, even though some of them have accents. well i hope that wont happen to u anymore :)

  • I like this guy a lot. He is so proud of being Iranian and background.

  • You are an inspiration to many Iranian people. Stay green and proud Maz!

  • yessssss!! you go you legend! we love you <3

  • Navid and omid are a version of the jonas brothers ha ha ha

Anyway, I love this vid! Im not persian, but I hang out with MANY persians and arabs, and have heard WAY too many americans try telling me to watch "Not without my daughter"...Why does it seem that the American and Western civilizations only want to portray the middle east as evil? there are so many beautiful things about those cultures!!!!!

  • @kalenkamatyushka Yeah, that's kind of like telling people that if they really want to know about Jews, they should read Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

  • Toucccccche all the way! Iranian and proud!

  • "i will sacrifise you like sheep" LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Take this 300!

  • That was a very nice and simple run down for events maz! keep doing your thing bro!

  • maz, this is why you are a source of inspiration

  • the jabar brothers

    lol

  • omg i've seen that movie!!! lol my mom thinks thats going to happen to me because i love arabs...so hot

  • lol , jabbar brothers :))))) grate job man , all the best

  • LOL you tried hard. ... good one.. ( JUST TO MAKE A SUGGESTION President GW B. didnt say IRANIAN PEOPLE. he mention the Islamic Republic. THE GOVERNMENT. .. Just a freindly reminder. :)

    AZAD ERAN/IRAN

  • great video man

  • @darkregions

none of greens had burned buildings!

    the just defended themselves

just follow the news! we lost 37

is it violence to burn the security bike who has shut your friends?

  • @darkregions

as I know the majority dont like the regime

as a follower of this story I know that violent of the opposition is almost nothing in comparison with what regime is doing ( in streets and prisons)

unfortunately this is the cost of freedom and democracy

  • @darkregions,

So you're saying you don't live in Iran you don't know what's happening, but you still pass judgement just means you just talk out your ass :)

  • what the fuck do u know jendeh?? finally someone talks that makes sense unlike these fucking people on news that shit all the time. so people like you need to shut the fuck up. your the man Maz.

  • what the fuck are you talking about??

    Was I talking to you??

    Suck my dick.

  • well it's not the bikes fault, but in any case, I am not bringin sarcasm into this, but violence in Iran seems to errupt from every where, you have the sunni suicide bombers, the demos (whether belongin to GM or not is unknown but some are certainly violent, according to some vidz on youtube).. All that I am saying is, it is right for anyone to claim their human rights, the issue here we discussed below is whether these demos serve other's agenda (tho i knw iranians shouldnt giv a nicle abt it)

  • Just hope no rednecks mistake you for a mexican

    hahaha

  • Funny, but true. Nice work!

  • Thank you! wen I went to Iran I joined the movement, it was hard and you never know when you are going to die. Its really terrifying. I got chased and beat couple of times. I respect all those who died for that country, and I am grateful that people don' see the iranian citizens as the axis of evil, but they finally understand its the government.

  • Very Good points...finally someone got the balls to talk about this shit..

Be proud of where u come from, but integrate.

I am an Iranian, not Persian..

  • @jamshidkordeh Well Im an Iranian AND a Persian

nothing wrong with being both of them

  • @jamshidkordeh What is mean this shit????

    I am Italian, not Latina

  • @videokanaler

I am not sure if I understand what you are saying.

I was referring to Maz's comment...

  • @jamshidkordeh you are retarded ofcourse you are Iranian not Persian because your name already say it "Kordeh "

    YOU ARE KURDISH IRANIAN !!!!

AND IM PERSIAN IRANIAN... so stop your anti persian bullshit you kurd !!!

we are all Equal iranians !!! But persians are mayority ethnic group of iran .

  • @jamshidkordeh The word Iran has only existed in European languages for about 75 years. The word Persian (in its various forms) has existed for thousands of years in European languages. The only reason it exists at all outside of its own country is because Reza Shah, under Nazi influence, asked the diplomats of other countries to stop using Persia for official correspondence and use Iran instead. In the 1950's, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi changed this policy, and declared that either was acceptable.

  • I am Persian..Meow! =)

  • you're all the great deeply understanding people who really have a massive clue about the situation in Iran and what's going on in the world. I choose silence from this point on.

  • Maz, you're alright brother. You came to the U.S as a child and you're still proud of being an Iranian.

  • You are wrong uttaskillz. Corruption, nepotism, not knowing how to run a country, and pure incompetence of the Iranian government is behind the green movement. It is for these reasons it exists. The place is collapsing. CIA and Mossad were too busy looking for a-bombs.

  • Sportsbiker: You are the one with the narrow understanding of the situation. No doubt that material needs dominate the movement in Iran, but can you name one movement in the history of human existence that was not dominated by the economic needs of ordinary people. This does not make a movement shallow. All socio-political movements are rooted in economics. Who are you to decide what the needs of the iranian people are and to judge them as shallow. What world do you live in?

  • yes, but guess who was and is behind the Islamic Republic of Iran?

  • To all Iranians; USA and Israel do not want Iran to become a big power in the Middle East, and they are doing everything in their power to destroy Iran. Learn a lesson from what USA has done to Iraq,

The USA has lost 4500 soldiers , spent one trillion dollar, killed, and maimed over one million Iraqis to change the regime and to install a puppet government in IRAQ that takes the interest of the America

To USA ,,,, Iran is far more valuable than IRAQ. Do not let USA to interfere in Iran

  • We have a highly educated and highly motivated nation. Let's not expect the government to do anything right because it's incapable. Think how we can invest in Iran's infrastructure, education, and businesses. Let's have specific goals and see if each of us can contribute to them despite the government's incompetence. It won't be easy, but nothing has ever been easy for us throughout history.

  • Hey Maz, you are great brother. Keep up the good job. Yes, the Green movement will win very soon. I am very proud of being Iranian and proud of the Green Movement.

  • I guess all the people who got out of shape listening to this guy, they really didn't understand what he's talking about.

To those guys: Dudes, he is on your side. Unless you are Basijis or in bed with a mulla, he did not say anything to offend you and if you are a Basiji or a mulla boy, attacking this guy here doesn't solve your problem. Iranians have demonstrated they are sick and tired of the Islamic Republic and their servants.

  • ما پیرزیم چون بیشماریم جنبش سبز ایران به زودی این دیکتاتور خامنه ای را سر نگون خواهد کرد

  • fantazyfire; I am sorry, it just makes me really sad when people make these blanket comments like "people of Iran are not educated for democracy, maybe in 10 to 15 years.." I don't really understand what basis table they use to configure these wild calculations; I just had to say something - sorry :)

  • Sportsbiker; where have you been? I guess you don't know much about Iran; I'll just fill you in one issue you mentioned, eduction. Over 65% of Iranians are under the age of 30; over 90 percent of those are college educated; this figure of course doesn't include their parents and grand parents :)

  • Thank God 4 ppl like "sportsbiker", who start talking about education...and thank God for ppl like "pardis2221" that educate them.

  • The problem is that the majority of people of Iran are not ready for freedom due to lack of education. Therefore as long as they need some kind of force to rule their lives because of the fact that they're not capable of choosing themselves then the regime would choose for them. But in about 10 /15 years time things will be different when a new and more developed generation of people start taking shape.

  • you're so wrong my friend Iran isn't cool cos of the green movement. Iran is suddenly cool cos they're not taking shit from america and no one can just attack Iran without dangering the future of the whole world. so what's happening now ?they're trying to improve the image of Iran so that they can justify the future talks being held with Iran.

  • I understand what all the westernized Iranians are confused about but you are confused on a whole other level Sportsbiker. Perhaps you should stick to bicycles. Iran isn't the wests boy toy to be liked or disliked as they please. Iran looks after it's own national interest. America and israel are the true dangers to world peace.

  • You can only get away with these statements so long as you are able to keep people (real iranian people) quiet through rape, beatings, force and guns. Once that goes, so will your house of cards. Brace up my friend. this guy right here and the likes of him who are speaking the truth are the sign of your downfall. The new generation is going to wash you away. viva

  • @Sportsbiker lol so what you're suggesting that the States would rather have a fanatic islamic regime who befriends America, than no islamic regime?

    lol

  • Iran is a rising superpower, that is why it is being hated on just like China and India.

  • the way "They" view Iranians !? well that is important, but not all that important. speaking truth to power, and devising policies on what makes sense matters too.

"Muslims" ,or Iranian cannot worry all the time on the way they are "viewed." , there are other concerns as well.

Or all tehy have to do , is to make you look bad in the media

  • very cool! loved it!

  • He is very funny. BoomGen TV should also do one with Omid djalili... he is also very funny.

  • we can do it!

  • Oh man , I m proud of you . . .

  • haha

    "its Iranian not airanian"

    hahaha

  • love the way you talked about "Not without my Daughter " movie! "honey I loveeeeeeeeeeee you! ":D:D

    Completely agree with your points~

a green wrist band would have been a nice touch:)

  • If George Bush came out with the name of Iran in recognizing world terrorism triangle not Egypt is because our government in Iran is the most dangerous terror for the world and supports and encourages terrorism in the world, I wish Mr. Jobran get a little deeper in details!!! I deeply appreciate the Green Movement reminder though!

  • You have to pick whether you are going to be a funny or go deeper. You can't do both.

Also I am curious, how do you determine which country is the most "dangerous terror" in the world? I think this is a exaggeration and they are not very helpful.

  • it was a joke, Einstein..

"deeper in details"!!!?? lmao.. you could be "Mr. Jobran" 's sidekick..

  • you're great maz!

  • ...Hostage crises = Stupidity...

...Not Without My Daughter = The Past...

    ...9/11 = Religion vs. Modernism...

...Axes of Evil Theory = Nonsense...

    ...Green Movement = Undeniable...

  • Loved it man, very fanny.

  • Does anybody know which new york school it was where they went "iranian" on the priniple?

  • The school teacher wrote a post to Nico Pitney of the Huff Post about it in July. I don't recall seeing the school name.

  • I initial thought the metaphor "going Iranian" on someone represented the Iranian government standing up to the West's protest to it's nuclear program.

  • I had the same exact experience with a Italian girl. we were hitting it off and once I said I'm Iranian, it was over.

I still remember her face, it was like saying I have Aids or something...

  • the fucking hate that movie "not without my daughter", that was the dumbest most racist movie ever!

    the Jabbar brothers!!! lmao!

  • Thank God there's no Jabbar brothers, hehe. And now that we're proud because of the Green Movement I guess we should stop picking our noses, right?

    I love Maz Jobrani.

  • Quote Pray4Iran Oct 16: "I wonder if id have the courage to wear green and walk out to face imprisonment, rape, torture, and death."

  • where is this quote from? someone in Iran i guess.

  • Great idea and great choice of comedian!

  • im so glad that the people of Iran are draining this poison of religion out of their system and people like you will learn how to keep their religious beliefs only to themselves

  • dadash man alan iranam chi migi to you dont even speak the language properly man iran be donya oomadam iran am bozorg shodam shoma meske kheili vaghte iran naboodi

  • Even my son thinks he's funny. He's goth. hee hee.
