Joe Namath did a few segments for Sesame Street for Season 4 like this one, including one for the number 12 since that was his jersey number, and a few more "Pass the Football on #" sketches like this one here. That same year (1972), he was also one of many celebrities who made cameos on The Electric Company for the show's second season, and his cameo actually was taped on the set of Sesame Street!

sesame street in the 70s and 80s had the best sketches. i feel fortunate that i grew in those times. sesame street today is pure garbage
