One final note: If unions are so terrible, did you just discover this notion because of the protests in WI? You've mentioned Franklin Roosevelt as being apposed to collective bargain rights, so it's clear that you must have been aware of how terrible union and union rights are. Why over-cover it now, in the midst of WI protests? Why is it all you're talking about now? Sounds like political special interests when the subject has arisen publicly. Don't pretend this is about budget. 2.9% of WI budget goes to state employees pensions. If you remove all means for the lower class to enter the middle class, you're going to have big problems ahead in the future. The economic gap, already the largest in the world in America, will stretch further, and there will be seriously problems ahead. Much larger then the protests in WI.

"play hide and seek, instead of getting back to work, Its going to cost them." So wait a second, I thought this was a budget issue, not a political issue. So this was about Union busting. The response is "the Unions only care about power". So what does busting Unions do? Its a power swing. I can't believe, while we're in the heart of a crisis within our education system, that you would have the nuts to say they're over paid.
