What nutn's talking about at 20:00 with the little kid angle of political advertisements is so fucking annoying.
The "kid talking to their parents about a political decision" has been overused so much, and it's been going on for so long. The pro-prop 8 people used it just a year or two ago with the little kids acting confused about gay marriage. I find those commercials to be the most irritating out of any political adverts...
Great vid though, when I get a little more cash, I'll be joining
@LAFD54 I carry a gun everyday. My friends and family carry guns both concealed, open carry and in the line of duty. Of that circle of people, myself included we wish to never have to use deadly force on another human. But we are prepared to and TRAIN ourselves to be more proficient with our weapons as to reduce the likelyhood of an innocent person being injured or killed if we ever have to use deadly force. I hope for everyone's sake that you are not a registered voter in the United States.
i just joined the NRA! everything Nutn is saying is true! Im from California and they NEVER stop coming up with stupid laws that dont make a difference in crime(doesnt surprise me) and just plain dont make sense!
Sadly Nutn, you're basically describing Canadian gun regulation. Our regulation is beyond even California's. Fortunately, we're soon repealing a registry of everything but pistols.
I would post this as a video commentary but it's not one of my own videos sooo....the german TNP'rs need the help of all you guys out there against further gun restrictions in Germany...just watch this "DeutscheSchuetzen I am a gun owner" ...it'll explain a lot... thx and "Gut Schuß!" :)
Hi Nutnfancy, I just wanted to let you know that after watching this video, I joined the NRA for the first time and signed up for a 5 year membership.
NY is tough to get a gun. when I go to Florida I'm going to pick up a pistol. that's all I want. simple CCW for self defense. but the government takes CCW to mean "murderer/criminal" its pretty bad.
@LAFD Hey, bud. The NRA is against people using guns for crime. Also, you can't purchase a gun legally with a criminal history. Even something simple. Also if guns became illegal, people will still buy them via the black market.
Everyone needs to be anti-gun! If you want a gun, join the army idiot. What we don't need are untrained, trigger happy civilians out there just waiting to use a gun during a violent conflict. If you morons want to carry a gun, join the police or armed forces. You see how effective carry a firearms is, violent crime is at an all time high. Civilians have NO justification for carrying any firearms. All this does is strokes their egos and makes them WANT to get involved in violent confrontations.
I am a member and support the GAO (Gun Owners of America) and JPFO (Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership). NRA is too compromising such as supporting the Brady Bill. They are also cut throat such as pushing for greater penalties for those who use firearms in crime, further demonizing firearms and making the instrument of crime of emphasis rather than the crime being committed at all. They push for things that further their fight instead of winning and ending the struggle.
Thank you very much for making this video. 86 million gun owners are freeloading off us 4 million NRA members. We are paying the insurance premiums for their gun rights. If we (yes we, because ''I am the NRA'') had 10 or even 15 mill members, we could really get things done.
And something to think about; for those that only go for the $25 special; If protecting the 2 A is your reason for joining the NRA-how far do you think the $25 goes in covering the expenses of membership--the stickers & membership card package, 12 issues of the glossy page magazine that you'll probably flip thu while sitting on the toilet....how much is left over for fighting for our gun rights ? thanks for reading, signed a proud Life member that still makes donations every year.
Nutnfancy, I'm part of the "You're not doing enough!!" crowd, but I fully support whatever the NRA is doing. You have great arguements to support them too. Every little bit counts when it comes to rolling back so many frivolous laws that disarm the sheepdogs in the USA.
I will honestly say I was one of the I didn't want to be on the "list" guys. As usual Nutnfancy has made a video that speaks to me so I'll pony up and join. I've been involved with local (California) pro gun campaigns for a last 4-5 years. Now it's time to take the next step. As a resident of the CA I'm subjected to a heap of lame gun laws that haven't stopped or slowed the crime rate one bit. Guns laws only restrict lawful gun owners, not criminals.
The NRA responsible for the murder of so many Americans. The statistical likelihood of self defense is a myth. All you are going to do if a person puts a gun in your face is cry like a baby and poop in your pants. Just like trained soldiers and experienced law enforcement officers do. The NRA tells lies and you people are paranoid and believe this. Guns kill people and if you have one you are much more likely to kill a pet or family member. Kid, just say NO to this insanity.
@mojosfun Due to the fact that you have failed to provide any sources for your "statistics" it's safe to say that you're just a raving fool who doesn't know the first thing about what they're talking about. The only one who seems like a zealot here is you. I think you need to take a good look at yourself before you criticize anyone else. The only one who is spouting anything that sounds like insanity is you. Once again though, I'd be happy to look at those "statistics" you keep bringing up.
Exactly Nutn' not sure if I'm thinking about the same lawsuit as you but I remember reading up about a company that I know you have at least one rifle by them and that after a mass shooting the families of the victims sued said company. They settled out of court as it was cheaper than to fight it. How could the judge allow that, should have been thrown out of court. I always said so if someone drinks and drives and they hurt or kill someone that you can sue the maker of the alcohol they drank?
These guys who advocate gun control want control, not the safety of the society. If you want to solve the crime problem, start with the education system, then arm the population to deter crime. Let prisoners undergo rehab so they can return to be productive members of society. These things all work better than gun control. The whole debate on gun control is BS, you can find the facts at justfacts website. Right now, I'd better be an NRA member.
NRA is bull.20%is disarmed via gun control w/NRA lobbies/helps gov brainwash people into believing it's a good thing.Gun control is the divide&conquer method like the guy says, the NRA is re-enforcing that mentality. The government decides who is bad or crazy then life gun ban.People eat that shit pie up!!WTF!! 80%+of people w/records plead gulty via blackmale, lack of legal knowledge,etc....We are losing our free nation. Hell Tomy Chong is a felon for his picture in sons taxed hooka website!
I think that no one can try to control that which does not affect them... People who want other people to hand in their guns are childishly hoarding power...
Actually ct has pretty good laws you need a drivers licence to by a long gun and I think you need a pistol permit. Now mass suck you can't have folding stocks also you can't order ammo on line
Being a member of the NRA, and/or any other orginized group you can, in my opinion is a nice backup to the "well orginized militia" argument. If you know what I mean, you know what I mean.
Do not be fooled by the NRA lies, myths and paranoia. They believe the LAwd wants them to own a gun ( the lawd don't care); they really think you can defend yourself with a gun ( this is as rare ass chicken teeth); they say guns don't kill people but that is akin to say gasoline won't ignite a fire) Use your brain, these people subvert the Second Amendment. The proliferation of handguns is a public health crisis. 10K deaths a year. They're more dangerous than Al-Quida !
@mojosfun Actually no, gasoline won't start a fire by itself. The same way a gun won't kill someone by itself. And no, the NRA is not promoting that the "Lawd" wants them to have guns, but they do accept the fact that every person has a God given right to protect themselves. And defending yourself with a gun is rare? Tell that to the people that are saved by having them everyday, and the many others that may have been saved if they had had one. Stop spouting these meaningless ravings.
@brqde1319, you would not have survived Jonestown because you would have been guzzling the Kool Aide. Most guns at home kill a family member or pet not an intruder. I know you think I rant because I use real stats and you eat and breath the lies, myths, propaganda of the NRA. When you fools are shooting each other your dogs are shooting you. So much for the NRA and gun safety.
@mojosfun Can you please provide a legitimate and reliable source for the statement that "Most guns at home kill a family member or pet not an intruder"? Also, I'm beginning to question your mental well being. I fail to see how the Jonestown massacre is related to this at all, and I also fail to see how my dog will be able to shoot me. If you want to have a discussion, please say something of value, not just random babbling of a radical.
@mojosfun, I know it is hard for you to make assoications like this. For real information go to websites of graduate schools of epidemiology such as Johns Hopkins, the cdc.gov, etc. I am former law enforcement, trained 1000's of officers, trained with SWAT, spoke with scores of murderers and treated gun shot victims. Guess I am rad to you. My career has put me in the middle of this NRA promoted violence.
@jadx21, Nope, just for very strict gun control. I am just tired of the NRA murdering innocent Americans and promoting lies like, Gawd wants me to have a gun, I am gonna defend myself with a gun, I gotta have a gun to protect myself from the government. You people are weak minded people who live in a fantasy land.
@mojosfun Obviously you need to learn some things about: 1. human history 2. facts and the NRA doesn't kill people, criminals who get their guns illegally kill people. You really need to get correct information before you go around voicing such bold and strong opinions
@mojosfun evorybody but you has to turn in a gun. that kinda control? show me statistics of gun control working? evory school that allows cc hast had a shooting. the "gun free" zones are the ones with the shootings. kinda funny isnt it, how gun control only works on the people who already oba the law. Im a criminal justice major and my profesor Dr larry Jetmore who like you tought swat teams cant stress enough that police dont affect rape murder or any heavy crimes.
@brqde1319, they are meaningless to you because you live in the NRA fog of lies. You people are just like the Taliban, a bunch of zealot murderers. I've forgotten more history than you will ever know. Gawd tells you to defend yourself. From what? I 'll tell you what. The NRA makes sure that there are too many guns and they know many land in the hand of criminals. So you are defending yourself from your own stupidity. Defending is rare, suicide is not.
Thanks Nutnfancy for all you do and your education on this subject. I'm only 14, so I don't think I can join the NRA, but when I'm 18 and buy my own firearm I will join. I love TNP, keep up the good work!
I am personally a member BUT your thought process is like saying if your black you should join the NAACP. They fight peoples rights also. I agree people should stand for what they believe but making someone feel guilty for not joining boys club you believe in is petty. I love your message but I didn't like the delivery!
Is there a certain age to sign up for the NRA? I'm 18. I don't have any guns yet either though, but that will change when I get my first pay check once I graduate Marine Corps boot camp next year, OORAH! Also, many thanks to all of the veterans out there.
Nutnfancy, thanks for this educational vid, and I really respect your position on the NRA. I never really gave joining much thought before, but this definitely changed my mind. I just bought my first gun this past spring, but the thing is, I am a college student and jobless at the moment. I dont know how I would become a steady member at this time. Once I am better off financially though, I will definitely remember to join!
First, I do support the NRA and most of their positions.
That said, the NRA is in fact very large and very powerful by any standard of measure. It is routinely and consistently ranked as one of the most powerful lobbying groups on Capitol Hill, in the United States.
@jakkd07 agreed and I can vouch for that personally. I work on Capitol Hill and am friends with several ranking people in NRA-ILA and I can tell you there is no lobby group that members of Congress are more wary of pissing off than NRA! Poll after poll of lawmakers has borne this out that NRA is the most feard/respected interest group. Like Nutn said, NRA rocks!
Nailed it on the head with California. I've chosen never to live there again but it sucks that I have to be far from my family and friends and an environmentally beautiful place in order to live like an American should be able to. Next stop, Arizona. Can't wait to be in a free state!
We need gun-rights groups to unite worldwide. Because the gun grabbers have IANSA, a global organization which wants to ban guns everywhere. The brady campaign is a subsidiary of IANSA. A global problem can only met by a united global solution, arm civilians worldwide!!!
Any unarmed people are slaves, or are subject to slavery at any given moment. If the guns are taken out of the hands of the people and only the pigs have guns, then it's off to the concentration camps, the gas chambers, or whatever the fascists in America come up with.

Nutn, good video. A few months back, my state is working in the opposite direction. It passed a bill to extend the home castle law. This bill means that good civilian sheepdogs no longer have to run before using force to save themselves or others. Also, it goes to protect that individual from the criminal or their family from sueing the person defending themselves. Good job on the video, keep up the awesome work.
Have you noticed you can't put comments on the Brady campaigns videos on you tube. It's because their afraid, their of The NRA members bashing their false claims and propaganda about assault weapons and HI capacity magazines.
P.S. i use a HI capacity magazine for my home defense weapon because 33rds give me more rounds than most bad guys not cops.
you cannot appease evil, only sometimes delay it. People who want to regulate guns will not stop until ALL guns are taken. So we have to do the same and not stop until ALL our gun rights are back.
If it is not unreasonable to propose that tighter gun control foreshadows the rise of a Orwellian style of government and control of daily life- then it is not unreasonable to propose that the struggle between pro-gun and anti-gun lobbyists covers the fact that they share the same money lined mattress?
Calling a gun owner that's not a NRA member a non-patriot is kinda like calling a vegetarian who's not apart of PETA an animal abuser.
It's hard for someone to not sound socially/politically pretentious when they stress that everyone throw money at a given group for a given cause. Even something as important as 2nd Amendment. (cont'd in a second comment)---->
Is there any branch or something of the NRA in Canada? Our government's completely out of control when it comes to trampling on the rights of gun owners. Somebody need to stand up to them!
Though I understand the point you are making. It is important to remember that gun laws are different in different states because of many factors.
Though I live in CA and it sucks that it's impossible to get a CCW, impossible to carry anywhere, I still understand that what might work in Montana or Utah might not work in CA or NY...
Jeepers, nutnfancy! WTG off righteously and thanks for this vid, bro! I went to NRA.org and updated all my info, changed from print to digital (awesome!), subscribed to First Freedom and Obama watch newsletters. Been a Life Member for years but haven't been the supporter I need to be- thanks for the pep talk. I'm gifting my wife a membership. Seriously, every gun owner should join and then get someone to join with them. Heck - be a Friend of Freedom - gift someone a membership!
@balfarzalkar1 Any moron gangster that wants to carry a gun will carry a gun. Do you think they are going to follow a law that says they can't without a permit? Ridiculous!
the one thing that scares me about concealed carry in AZ is that you don't need a license to do it and i live in AZ so any fucking gangster gun toting moron can do it without any license
@balfarzarkar1 You clearly don't understand the second amendment. Why should you have to beg to caesar for a permit to carry a gun if we have the RIGHT to keep and bear and it shall not be infringed?
@thaddeusabear Is it a win that many gun owners are accepting the need to get a license to carry a gun and exercise a supposed right? The federal or state government has no authority to require or grant such a license. Read the second amendment.
ok I listened to your comentary I agree It's our right to defend ourselves and own arm's dispite the pressure from back ground socioty's to say it's a privlage and want to control and exstiquish our right's not just in America But Canada too as well as country's abroad . saying that I'm alittle ignorant about NRA ..sorry..whats a Canadian rifleman group and your afiliation? send me a message ..long live everyones right to defend themselves there country there family world wide!
Amen brother! I am a current NRA member and proud of it. I'm saving up to be a life member. I didn't know about the separation of the NRA and the ILA as it pertains to funding and spending. I'll be sure to donate accordingly! Can not thank you enough for all the things you do for the gun owning community. Keep fighting the good fight. It does not go unnoticed!
Love this video... on the gun show loophole thing, I saw an episode of 20/20 (I think) where they did that exact thing - act like people are buying guns willy nilly
Dude, when they cut off goverment funding and all these hungrey kids and parents that live off the government are gonna start riots and rob people and stores so they dont have to go without and the NRA is not gonna mean a damn thing its gonna be every family for themself and those without will die. There already trying to pass bills to cut off SSI and all of it. Think about how many americans live off government checks? Now think about how many own guns. Things are gonna change eventually.
@ridgearice149 Very very very few will die/fight for them, afterwards they will be labeled right wing extremist, and gang members for us non whites. The rest of American gun owners will just simply give them to the gov cause they won't want to die, are too lazy, and will think of their children.
@MrGunman11 What do you think your talking about? The government never took our guns away, they wouldn't dare try. Imagine the government showing up on the doorstep of some backwoods southern town asking for their gun...lol, that's a joke, they would shoot them fools and drop'em in the swamp for the bears to take care of.
@ridgearice149 During the 90s the clinton assault weapons ban happened severely limiting what gun owners could own. If it didn't look like a fudd firearm it as basically illegal, we couldn't have pistol grips, and bayo lugs not alot of gun owners fought for those simple rights, so I seriously doubt alot of gun owners would actually do that.
@MrGunman11 there is a huge difference between limiting certain assault weapon features and taking away weapons all together. also i dont know where your from but here there are permits for that type of thing. i could go to the nearest guns shop tomorrow and buy an M4. But what im saying is here where im from and most of the south, if the government shows up at our doors asking for our hunting rifles then they have another thing coming.
@ridgearice149 From TX and we don't need permits for anything other than to conceal carry. I still don't think alot of people would do anything, and plus I'm pretty sure the LEOs would have the upper hand since they know you might be armed.
@MrGunman11 dude i get it, the people YOU know wouldn't do anything....that's sad. but the people I know, would do something and who cares if they are armed, that wouldn't do them any good out here.
Nutnfancy, in the past watching your videos i wasn't sure about where you stand. For all i knew you could have been a liberal (who likes sharp things). But now i know we are on the same page! I Agree with you 100% on the self protection statement. I will be joining the marines on AUG.23 by the way, Infantry 6years mos.
Harry Reid-brought to you by the NRA. No thank you. They are now a "weak little girl of an organization". I'm not sending money to people who support him. Switching to Gun Owners of America.
We have gun turn ins here in my city. and this one guy went down and saw what people were turning in, and he saw a nice rifle and offered the guy 200 bucks for it, which he took, turned out to be a $1200 rifle,, so just a tip , if you guys have a gun turn in event, go down and see what people have and you might be able to find something nice.
Gun turn ins are also a good way for criminals to get rid of a gun, because the cops dont run the numbers and just destroy them.
I have hand guns and permits to carry from two states. Which means I can carry in 38 states. Without the NRA, I wouldn't be able to that. It's my right to bare arms to protect myself. I need to meet requirements that say I can. That's better than nothing. Nutnfancy let's some it up, thanks for the NRA. Your video was on the target
You don't have to look to the UK TNPrs...just look north to Canada. It took us 18 years to get a political party elected on the promise to eliminate our long gun registry, (it is not gone yet). The NRA did a video on our situation and it is posted here on YouTube Nutnfancy is right in his statements about the incrementalism leading to confiscation. It happened here in Canada.
@SparkDischarge Controling guns to a certain extent is good. I am 100% pro-gun. But I do believe keeping weapons out of criminals hands, and promoting safety and safe gun handling.
The whole assault weapons thing is not logical. Just because a gun is black, has a large magazine, a bayonet lug, a flash suppressor it makes it more deadly than single shot 22 thats painted orange?. All guns are potentially deadly just as all vehicles, chemicals, medicines, electrical outlets are deadly. Im also from the UK and it really is a slippery slope, once there gone there gone forever. See past the whole left and right BS, make a choice based on logic and you and your fellow citizens.
So basically I decided that I'm cutting some of these people off from the range. Most shoot with me or they don't shoot at all. This is especially true for the rifle owners. It is a huge cost savings for the handgun owners to shoot with me vs. going to a local indoor range.
The friends can shoot with me no matter what. As for the coworkers and aquaintences...they get one range trip and that's it unless I see some kind of pro gun support from them.
I have gun owning friends and co workers that like their guns and want THEIR 2nd Amendment rights.
They will not join the NRA because they are lazy, cheap and basically parasites in regards to gun rights. They rely upon others to work, sacrifice and pay so that they can keep their rights.
They are also strong Obama supporters and will not give to the NRA because they don't support "The One"
They also agree with Obama's support for gun bans in DC and Chicago because they have high crime rates
What nutn's talking about at 20:00 with the little kid angle of political advertisements is so fucking annoying.

They're more dangerous than Al-Quida !
mojosfun 3 months ago
@mojosfun Actually no, gasoline won't start a fire by itself. The same way a gun won't kill someone by itself. And no, the NRA is not promoting that the "Lawd" wants them to have guns, but they do accept the fact that every person has a God given right to protect themselves. And defending yourself with a gun is rare? Tell that to the people that are saved by having them everyday, and the many others that may have been saved if they had had one. Stop spouting these meaningless ravings.
brqde1319 2 months ago
@brqde1319, you would not have survived Jonestown because you would have been guzzling the Kool Aide. Most guns at home kill a family member or pet not an intruder. I know you think I rant because I use real stats and you eat and breath the lies, myths, propaganda of the NRA. When you fools are shooting each other your dogs are shooting you. So much for the NRA and gun safety.
mojosfun 2 months ago
@mojosfun Can you please provide a legitimate and reliable source for the statement that "Most guns at home kill a family member or pet not an intruder"? Also, I'm beginning to question your mental well being. I fail to see how the Jonestown massacre is related to this at all, and I also fail to see how my dog will be able to shoot me. If you want to have a discussion, please say something of value, not just random babbling of a radical.
brqde1319 2 months ago
@mojosfun, I know it is hard for you to make assoications like this. For real information go to websites of graduate schools of epidemiology such as Johns Hopkins, the cdc.gov, etc. I am former law enforcement, trained 1000's of officers, trained with SWAT, spoke with scores of murderers and treated gun shot victims. Guess I am rad to you. My career has put me in the middle of this NRA promoted violence.

@jadx21, Nope, just for very strict gun control. You people are weak minded people who live in a fantasy land.
mojosfun 2 months ago
@mojosfun Obviously you need to learn some things about: 1. human history 2. facts and the NRA doesn't kill people, criminals who get their guns illegally kill people. You really need to get correct information before you go around voicing such bold and strong opinions
ThePumpkin111196 2 months ago

@jakkd07 agreed and I can vouch for that personally. I work on Capitol Hill and am friends with several ranking people in NRA-ILA and I can tell you there is no lobby group that members of Congress are more wary of pissing off than NRA!

@MrGunman11 What do you think your talking about? The government never took our guns away, they wouldn't dare try. Imagine the government showing up on the doorstep of some backwoods southern town asking for their gun...lol, that's a joke, they would shoot them fools and drop'em in the swamp for the bears to take care of.
ridgearice149 9 months ago
@ridgearice149 During the 90s the clinton assault weapons ban happened severely limiting what gun owners could own. If it didn't look like a fudd firearm it as basically illegal, we couldn't have pistol grips, and bayo lugs not alot of gun owners fought for those simple rights, so I seriously doubt alot of gun owners would actually do that.
MrGunman11 9 months ago
@MrGunman11 there is a huge difference between limiting certain assault weapon features and taking away weapons all together. also i dont know where your from but here there are permits for that type of thing. i could go to the nearest guns shop tomorrow and buy an M4. But what im saying is here where im from and most of the south, if the government shows up at our doors asking for our hunting rifles then they have another thing coming.
ridgearice149 9 months ago
@ridgearice149 From TX and we don't need permits for anything other than to conceal carry. I still don't think alot of people would do anything, and plus I'm pretty sure the LEOs would have the upper hand since they know you might be armed.
MrGunman11 8 months ago
@MrGunman11 dude i get it, the people YOU know wouldn't do anything....that's sad. but the people I know, would do something and who cares if they are armed, that wouldn't do them any good out here.

Gun turn ins are also a good way for criminals to get rid of a gun, because the cops dont run the numbers and just destroy them.

@monsterman27 If you want to go by historical common-law, the 2nd Amendment recognizes you right to OPEN carry.
Only criminals felt the need to deceive/hide the fact that they were armed.
So if you are engaging in open carry, then you shouldn't have to have a permit to conceal carry. (that old maxim, if you need one gun, you need two)
But Vermont style is better. No cards, just strap on before you leave home.

They will not join the NRA because they are lazy, cheap and basically parasites in regards to gun rights. They rely upon others to work, sacrifice and pay so that they can keep their rights.
