  • Hard to believe this was made in 1987...

  • @tkjpop Yeah..it´s easy to understand what impact it had due to a totally new sound compared to what was hot in 1987...no wonder it was played in the underground for years..the commercial world wasn´t ready for this...and hopefully never will be !!

  • atari song

  • I bow down and knee on my knees

  • @HybOj Maximum respect, this guy was way ahead of his time, this is a banger!

  • @HybOj

they were 5 years 2 late in fact:

    A1 - 33rpm - Raga Bhairav [Charanjit Singh - Synthesizing: Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat (1982)]

  • @keunes wow thanks for the insight, I have never heard that song and its really really something! thanks

  • This was the first acid track and it was made by mistake, when the producer was learning to use the synth and the synth was not meant to sound like this. Think about it.

  • Amazing rubber!

  • 16 and going wild!!!

Once I took one of my friends to La Bush ... she was RUNNING back home when she saw that place and heard the music :)

  • Oh my god !! David Guetta is castrated !

  • pffffffffffff this is sick as hell,, I love it

  • Amazing!!!

  • 1987, I stride into discotheque "Prestige" Antwerp - Belgium. This track slammed on the turntables. Started my Acid trip right then & there @ Warp speed, Haven't got back to earth yet!

  • @Avaturo I can't remember where I was first, in Prestige or La Bush?

  • I was born in 91 :(. Such a pure mindblowing track. So damn awesome!

  • X-times digitized, the whole depth is lost. This way, we can't exlain our children, why we were completly knocked out by this track and started a whole new movement. You need to listen to this on vinyl. Sometimes, analog rules. The Roland TB 303 is simply not compatible with digital recording. Sounds strange in our times, with 24 bits and more, but it's a fact. What ever codec you use, its not the same as the original. Nevertheless, thanks for uploading, better than nothing.

  • cat on acid from Procatinator anyone?

  • 1987 !!! amazing O - O

  • Acccciiiieeeedddd ! 1987 Thursdays in the disco OZ in Stuttgart/Germany with a lot of Poppers!

    Do you remember ;-)

  • Heaven, London, 1988 - this was MASSIVE, everyone doing that spazmodicalistic acid house dance, dry ice, lazers - oh happy day

  • the 303 supposedly used on this song is on ebay for $10k!!!!!! WTF

  • Without doubt ...this is a proper acid house track, not to everyones taste ...but I love it. I had many a good night off my face moving to the intricacies in this track.

As a previous poster stated, by 1992 the originality of the underground dance scene was dying on it's feet imho. .....but by then I had done my bit .

  • 1987,is kinda old style ok maybe not the birtday of the first track but so what.....

  • No my friend Adonis "No Way Back" was the first acids track

  • @OrchidRecords Ahhh, No Way Back... I used to DJ in Chicago in the late 80's and early 90's and didn't know that. Thanks.

  • Thank you Chicago for giving the world House music

  • mis respetos que hijo de puta temaaa

  • To let a track ride for 12mins like this, imagine being in a club in the late 80's hearing this for the first time after the typical house track at the time. I would be like this is cool but after 5 minutes I'd be like this is INSANE and hope it never ends!!!!

  • @professorquack It sure was... clubs were wall to wall bodies, hot as hell, no lights besides maybe a strobe or two, the crowd becomes one....

  • @professorquack Exactly. Please note in those days we had the real xtc, not the bad derivates you get now ...

  • @professorquack I first heard this in Heaven in London in '92 when I was 15 and I can honestly say without hyperbole that it totally changed my life. I used to spend whole evenings with 2 copies of it on my decks just mixing it!!! Hard to believe Pierre & Spanky made this in '85!!!

  • Aciiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeddddddddddddddd

  • out of reality...... incredible......

    simply the best track

  • got to love that tb-303

  • GET JACKIN' NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • CHICAGO HOUES MUSIC WILL HAVE YOU ''AWE-STRUCK'' I LOVE MY CITY.

  • @openuniverse2003

How can you say that....This track gave birth too all house music......

They should have closed your universe in 2003!!!

  • @roel123456 Correction Larry Heard aka Mr. Fingers - Can you feel it. Gave birth to House Music remember Jack?

  • @roel123456 well yes it's aka mr. fingers but this track kicks the living daylights out of mr. fingers but they both still jack dont they? thanks roel greets, michael.

  • @roel123456 This track did not give birth to all House music. Read up on the history some more :)

  • @Mocib jezus fucking christ... what is wrong with you people? I also know that this was not the first house track ever made. But you all have to agree that this record was a huge turning point in the music history!! More so then the other house tracks that were made round that time. That's all I ment to say.

  • @roel123456 Yeahhhh--- like that bro!!!

    All the best!,

    let,s get it on...

    ;-))

  • @roel123456 ahhh hmmm your quote "This track gave birth too all house music......" not quite right. Sorry. This gave birth to Acid House but House derived from Disco...started way before this...peace.

  • @roel123456 No it did not ....

Learn the past before you roll around with these comments

  • My version lasts for 12.20 minutes?

I was rushed to hospital last night and the health care professionals informed me that it was a suspected tb - 303 overdose and first case in the United Kingdom.

I was quite shook up by it all. Well done *NHS for bringing me back to consiousness *(National House Service)

  • That's it. I always struggled to generalise the genre that is Acid House, but the previous poster has smacked that nail on the head. It will always be the future.
