@tkjpop Yeah..it´s easy to understand what impact it had due to a totally new sound compared to what was hot in 1987...no wonder it was played in the underground for years..the commercial world wasn´t ready for this...and hopefully never will be !!
This was the first acid track and it was made by mistake, when the producer was learning to use the synth and the synth was not meant to sound like this. Think about it.
1987, I stride into discotheque "Prestige" Antwerp - Belgium. This track slammed on the turntables. Started my Acid trip right then & there @ Warp speed, Haven't got back to earth yet!
X-times digitized, the whole depth is lost. This way, we can't exlain our children, why we were completly knocked out by this track and started a whole new movement. You need to listen to this on vinyl. Sometimes, analog rules. The Roland TB 303 is simply not compatible with digital recording. Sounds strange in our times, with 24 bits and more, but it's a fact. What ever codec you use, its not the same as the original. Nevertheless, thanks for uploading, better than nothing.
Without doubt ...this is a proper acid house track, not to everyones taste ...but I love it. I had many a good night off my face moving to the intricacies in this track.
As a previous poster stated, by 1992 the originality of the underground dance scene was dying on it's feet imho. .....but by then I had done my bit .

@professorquack I first heard this in Heaven in London in '92 when I was 15 and I can honestly say without hyperbole that it totally changed my life. I used to spend whole evenings with 2 copies of it on my decks just mixing it!!! Hard to believe Pierre & Spanky made this in '85!!!
