The ps2 version sux... i have it and although I liked some of the stuff, but the game keeps crashing for no reason, and they made the graphycs too cartoony. This version seems a lot better, and I'm considering getting it, and dispose of the ps2 version. Can you play this online co-op?

they need a Grand theft auto styled Ghostbusters game,where you can drive to the location of a hunted house, and have random supernatural events tossed in, have little side things,like getting take out food, or going to a fast food place to get lunch or dinner, or early morning breakfast,have a weekly list of supernatural jobs to complete, and have the game kinda go on forever, and have missions throughout the game,kinda like Grand theft auto, except you get a proton pack instead of a gun! lol

They had just that in the "SEGA (original 8-bit) game. You could customize the car and I think the equipment. Yea I said it 8 bit graphics. Good memories.

@DanielBMS The level design is imaginative, not "awkward" and the concept of lassoing a ghost was just replaced with a shoot 'em up because that's what makes a good platformer. (Plus the ghost capturing part was in the end of every mini-boss, so don't say that it wasn't in it) You seem to be asking a little too much of a game made in 1990, and times have changed since and so has technology...

Just have the player have to lay a ghost trap in a strategic location and capture all offending ghosts. Is it really so hard to picture this in a side view? I know that you finally could drag a ghost into a trap after completing a boss battle, but it's about 1% of the game. Thanks for nothing.

movie is a no go. i dont recall where i read it but this game is basically GB3. i know i read this. it takes place 2 yrs after GB2 and it was scripted like a movie. so i wouldnt hold your breath about it. but i do have to say that this game looks epic

It's more than point and shoot. Rick Moranis is not in the game and there's plenty of things to do and enjoy when it comes to this game. One of the many things that can be done with the new weapons is sticking a car to the ceiling or maybe even people to stuff. Who knows? I just hope we can drive the ecto 1.

Well, I've never had a game where I can stick heavy things to ceilings and never has there been a game that's a sequel to a movie series and not just a adaptation that's as good as this. There's plenty of other things that will make this game great. It looks realistic and if your argument is that every game's the same. You'd be correct,but some games differ more from others so, that's not really true. If it's just a good ghostbusters game or a good any type of game it's still a good game.

movie is a no go. i dont recall where i read it but this game is basically GB3. i know i read this. it takes place 2 yrs after GB2 and it was scripted like a movie. so i wouldnt hold your breath about it. but i do have to say that this game looks epic

It's more than point and shoot. Rick Moranis is not in the game and there's plenty of things to do and enjoy when it comes to this game. One of the many things that can be done with the new weapons is sticking a car to the ceiling or maybe even people to stuff. Who knows? I just hope we can drive the ecto 1.

Well, I've never had a game where I can stick heavy things to ceilings and never has there been a game that's a sequel to a movie series and not just a adaptation that's as good as this. There's plenty of other things that will make this game great. It looks realistic and if your argument is that every game's the same. You'd be correct,but some games differ more from others so, that's not really true. If it's just a good ghostbusters game or a good any type of game it's still a good game.

Atari pays royalties for use of the copyrights to Columbia Pictures. Atari probably developed the game and went to Columbia for permission to release the game.
