I got up untill the part where im supoposed to play the notes I want on rhythem, but i cannot get the notes to "hammer-on" when i switch my fingerings. How do I get those notes on rhythem to begin with? Like the part where you begin to do the solo? If i do as u say and play the notes I want on lead, im still unable to get them on the Rhythem :/

cos they are only 5 notes in a row from a scale, if you wanna make a song sound pretty you have to use the arpeggio notes more than others

you have to put publish song and then you will be able to choose if you have to play rhythm guitar or lead guitar. As said in one of the comments.

When I create a song with both lead and rhythm parts, only the lead guitar is selectable from the menu.

So...and let me know if the answer is right in front of my face...how do you select rhythm before playing the song?

When selecting a song you see, "Play Song, Edit Song, Publish Song", choose "Publish Song" and then youll get a screen with several options, one of them is the ability to select whether Rhythm or Lead is playable.

bapt456 i cant use triplet too but im with the WII, i think triplets are only for Xbox360 and PS3.... but im pretty sure that you cant use triplet when you play on the WII

um maybe you could help me... i did as you said, but i have to low the rhythm volume to much to be able to practicly only hear the lead, and by doing that my power chords part are impossible to hear. Is there a way to mute only parts of the song or do you have any other idea to make the sound beter?? I am trying to reproduce a real song which makes it harder to find the exact same notes on lead and rhythm.

I suggest palm muting (hitting Back while playing) the notes in which leads play over the rhythm, you might still be able to hear rhythm and if you have a certain amp setting for rhythm it might be loud and annoying when palm muted, also when you do this you cant have normal rhythm notes playing in the background which kind of sucks. I would also have Lead volume at 10, with Rhythm around 7.

The Step Recorder I mentioned in the description automatically makes notes into hammerons (if theyre close enough together) The speeds are 1/4, 1/8, 1/8 triplet, 1/16, 1/16 triplet and 1/32 triplet. I believe 1/8 triplet up ti 1/32 triplet automatically makes them hammers ons, and 1/4 and 1/8 speeds make strums automatically.

That's pretty sweet! I'll definitely try it out when I get my copy of GHWT in a couple of weeks time. My guess is that this will soon become the normal way of making tracks, as it is a vast improvement over using the lead track as the playable chart, and sounds much better than just using rhythm...

Never mind, I figured out what he did. I downloaded it and played it. You're playing the RHYTHM track, and the lead track is playing in the background. But you're not actually playing it. If you stop playing during any of the solos, you still hear the lead guitar.

Thats a short way to put it, I was also gonna explain how to make the Rhythm guitar inaudible during solos, you just make it have the same Pan as lead other wise you can hear the rhythm guitar shredding along with the lead. I was also gonna explain that I palm muted most rhythm notes, I'll make a description soon, but yeah you figured it out, just make Rhythm shred and record Lead over it so it sounds like the lead is shredding. Thats the only way I see how to do it, cant put chords legitemately
