@AcousticTears1 Going on a limb here, I'm guessing it's from somewhere around Lancaster? It sounds like his accent in the "Don't Be Dirty" sketch, but less exaggerated. I'm not from the UK (American), but I'm trying to learn myself.
I love this sketch so much! "It's the acid rain, I think." Hugh reminds me of a lady in a charity shop where I live who calls all the customers "sweetheart" or "m'darlin'" Not quite so varied as "duck" or "petty-love" or "chooker-pet" I know. These two men are nothing short of brilliant.
Oh my LORD I cannot thank you enough for uploading this. I do have the entire series on DVD but I cannot go without watching it on youtube by itself. This is my all-time favourite sketch from ABOFL. :)
Yes, and what's even more astounding is that he doesn't even attempt to do a higher pitched feminine voice, and yet he still IS an absolutely convincing woman. It's amazing.
Ha! how appropriate that I'm watching this after Bolton just played away at Blackburn and won 2-1!

42 beats of the heart isn't right,
I'm sorry the hospital's where you spent your night.
If it continues to slow, I will have to think...
That you're turning to a zombie... Man, that would stink.
