  • my dad have one

  • i hate that this gun doesnt have the long recoil on it that the original ones do but i think it'll be a good gun i have a 1946 and a 1947 that are still shooting like brand new today

  • Nice shotgun but they shouldn't have named it A5. There's just to much history with the long recoil action of the A5. This gun, however great it turns out to be, just will never be an A5.

  • no reciprocating barrel, no magazine cutoff switch.

this is no auto-5. it is an impostor!

  • Is it wrong if i just got a boner

  • @OutlawOutdoors1 yes it is because this gun is a stupid ass paper weight that sonny boy came up with save your cash and get a urika or even a sportIIor hell an 1100 could go up against this

  • just look at the douchenozzles in this video! Listen to this music. that should tell you everything you need to know.

  • my maxus is nicer

  • Will winchester have the invector DS intigrated with its lineup, and will i be able to use the new Invector DS with the guns i currently have Winchester SX3, and SXP???

  • Invector DS!?!?!? now all my invector plus chokes are outdated! :( And im wondering if they will attempt to bring back winchesters 1911, its been 100 years now since then they should of given it a shot too.

  • When they take the original Auto 5, update it to cycle 3.5 inch shells (Yes I know I'll have to adjust rings to go from 2 3/4 to 3.5) and sell it fully coated (internal and external) with some polymer (think 1000 hours salt spray) I'll be first in line.

  • Browning A5 was a very good and reliable shotgun, and this is a very good retriver comercial :-)

  • i know one thing. ive grown up shooting nothing but A5's in hot to freezing condions. rain, ice, snow. Ive never had a malfunction while hunting. I will say that i have seen alot of other gun brand names fail when a group of birds throw on the brakes. So to the others yes your gun may look pretty but will it work when it counts??? lol BROWNING 4 LIFE

  • Why is Browning offering this when they already sell the Maxus?

I agree the old A5 design is a classic so why make an "improved" version?

Why would I want to buy this over a Benelli? Is the Black Eagle eating up that much

    marketshare?

  • @Nonsenseatbay because when some that bought a benelli got it to the house to take it hunting, and it didn't have a firing pin. Seems like an essential part of the gun if you ask me. So then you have to send it off to get fixed when you could have just bought a Browning.

  • oh please - Benelli is lightyears ahead. this is just ancient history reheated

  • @whiteleybob Say what you want clueless Bob but there will be one in my gun rack.

  • @whiteleybob Them's fightin' words son.

  • @rilevir16 i know what you mean I have a Belgium Browning A5 built in 1903 it operates flawlessly my gunsmith started slivating , i wanted hm to clean it , he could not beleive i asked him to reblue it , after some lecturing from he convimced me to just keep changing the friction rings and keep it well lubed.

  • @firefox8192 Yeah do keep it lubed. I kept having jams shooting low brass on the low side of the friction ring a few days ago. Broke her down, cleaned her, and she is golden. I need to find out when mine was made.

  • @rileyjr16 See the serial number ahead of the loading port.

  • @robertldayiii She's a light twelve made in the 50s. Forgot the exact year.

  • That is blasphemous, the A5 is a long recoil action shotgun and will always be, putting Val Browning’s short recoil operated Double Auto or A500 in a hump back receiver doesn't change the fact that papa Browning built the A5 to be what it is, not some short action abortion that his retarded son came up with.

  • @andytheturtle87

wait so its not a true reproduction of the A5?

short recoils is more moving parts right?

  • @andytheturtle87 @ablemancanada This is for everybody so I'm going to Cap it:

BROWNING IS COMPLETELY RIPPING OFF THE US MARKET BY STRIPPING OUR MODELS. MODELS SOLD ELSEWHERE IN THE WORLD ARE COMPLETE AND OF BETTER QUALITY! THEY HAVE MAGAZINE OPTIONS AND BETTER MODELS!

On a Norwegian site (nordskog.com) you can find various Browning rifles in FAR better models sold to them. All of their models come with sights and you can still get optional boss. Also 10 or even 20 round magazines

  • Oh yeah, this is awesome. I have a Belgian A5. People have offered me insane miney for it...I think I'll keep it.

  • WANT

  • @1113stve AMEN!!!!

  • I don't think this is a "A5" can't tell till I take one apart.. I have a 1956 and a 57 A5 ,, just freaking LOVE them

  • The best there is Browning rocks .

  • Mossberg 4 life DAwggs!!!!

  • alright gjtwat just be ready to get the antlers of a browning tore into you

  • hmmm mr gjtenn you seem like conspirator..... posting things on the internet that are far from from the truth my good man. so for that remark go jump off a cliff and take beretta piece of crap with you

  • not a 3.5 in, video shows serious recoil, and this promo video looks like a MMA protein shake commercial.

    Verdict: Browning still blows

    Beretta Xtrema for LIFE!!!

  • @gjtenn Why the hell are you watching this then. Go on and watch some beretta crap then.

  • @gjtenn I had an extrema, sold it when i sent it to beretta and they returned it to me with the bolt missing, berettas customer service blows

  • Top Quality pictures here:

    howardcommunicationsdotcom

    click Browning

  • see the review for this gun on outdoor life

  • I can't wait to look at one up close and in person...

it seems to have a very long receiver...3.5"?

  • Love the classic look of the A5. Would be hard to stop hunting with my grandfather's old gun but it might be time to retire it and buy a new one. Another great product by Browning.

  • That is one ugly gun sorry but the maxus looks way better why did you bring out something worse.

  • was looking around for a old classic a5 but maybe i have my eyes set on a new one.cant beat them

  • For all propose gun, this is better than Winchester SX3 NWTF Extreme Turkey?

  • Seems like a lot of trouble for one extra shot. I will stick with my Citori.

Nothing is more reliable than a good double.

  • @1965kid I'll respect your decision, doubles are great guns. However, I've found that third shell can be pretty useful sometimes. Also, if you hunt snow geese, you can take the plug out (depending on seaason/regs/etc.). Autoloaders are much more prevalent on today's fields and Browning is likely trying to appeal to a wider base.

I'm glad they are bringing this back. I love shooting mine and they are some of the most classic looking guns around.

  • amazing what do you guys think the maxus or this guy as an all purpose gun.

also Browning if you wanna give me a free a5 for being the first to comment feel free.
