  • one of few here with emotions from mc303

  • @AcidAction thanks and i really like your music !

  • A like minded soul exploring sound.

I got my 1st synth almost a year ago. Synth life here I come.

I agree the 80's was by far the best time. Since then the worlds gone technology & brand mad. Folk need to lighten up & feel the vibes without worrying what others think.

Peace & respect my YT friend

  • @funkb0x Too many people are trying to come up with another hit song, trying hard to be hip and to fit within a commercial criteria. People should go back to being artistic and be themselves, and play for themselves. With all the bad things happening in the world right now, I hope people will realize how frail we all are and return to better human values, familly, friends, and true feelings. that should make some good music.

  • what do you mean you dont put melody over acid?

the first acid house songs out of Chicago were very melodious.

Tyree, Armando, Mr. Lee, Maurice, etc. they all had very melodious acid tracks using strings.. The idea that acid house has no melody was from the 90s.. The 80s acid is better IMHO.

Keep up the melodious acid house. Great work!

  • thank you for your comment. I prefer the 80's myself. I feel like back in those days music was not categorized as much as today and didnt have to fit in a special mold. So many good ideas from that era are still echoing today. Thanks for the listening suggestions

  • No prob :) The original acid house of Chicago in the mid-80s had direct influence from 70s Black Funk and acoustic Soul/Jazz, so the BPM was slower and there was more deep funky groove to it.. Quite different from the Eurodisco-influenced acid of Europe in the 90s which was lacking in the soul department. You're stuff reminds me of the 80s Black Chicago American stuff :)

  • this is really pretty good, not quite acid though is it?

  • You are quite right, I have mostly a melodic approach to music, when I want to play genre such as acid, I tend to add more layers and think about melodies. Thanks for the comment !

  • Very nice man, great use of the mc303.
