@SirPsychoFlea Thanks so much for the opportunity to view these great people and hear them talk about their craft. I have such an admiration for so many films and acting around the world, and you have made it possible to appreciate it even more.
@cellardoor199991 yh but i bet james lipton wasnt a huge sex symbol like paul newman back in the day...paul newman was stunning even in his 60s...looks onli started fading like in his late 60s or 70s...gorgeous man..great actor
@340sk True. But, Lipton was pimping it when he was younger. I know if I looked more like him, I"d get more girls. Paul maintained it throughout his life though. But yeah Lipton was never a sex symbol
Could listen to Mr. Newman endlessly - great storyteller with wit, intelligence, warmth, and of course a wise, thoughtful, and experienced mentor. While his handsome face and iconic blue eyes could take your breath away, it was the soul behind the eyes that made them so striking and his emotional performances touch you. You are missed, but your charitable heart lives on.
@REAYNALDO Since when do you have to be an actor to appreciate Paul Newman? I've seen about a hundred of these shows and Newman ranks up there with the worst interviews I've ever seen. This is not exciting.
i hope that fuckface at 0:59 is making ends meet by selling his arse after having had a spectacularly unsuccessful attempt at an acting career. What a penis.
he is so open in a strange way, most of the actors in studio are open, but he is so so truly open, saying things that most of us would never ever say, because they are so private and so real to us. Thank you for uploading, it is amazing how much you can learn and understand from these people (not about the acting, but about human stuff, morals, relationships, being yourself..). Thanks again
@eXcalibooor this was definitely the first episode, at least the first one filmed, most of the episode guides list baldwin as the first one and maybe his episode even aired before this one (i really don't know that, maybe all the episode guides just cite the same wrong source or each other). the introduction here should be proof enough though, plus lipton mentions in quite a few other episodes that newman was the very first guest
@SirPsychoFlea Anyway, it doesn't really matter... I see that it sounds like I'm complaining, but it was just a perfectionist's catch. I really appreciate your work, know how hard this kind of work is :)
Keep it up an thank You very much indeed for this. I hope they'll be long enough up that I may watch them all at least once, and hopefully it will give me a nice acting base :) God bless ya.
This show gives me so much meaning. I thank you so much. I'm a film writing and planing on moving to New York and this gives me a little taste of NYC. I thank you. and I look forward to your future uploads.
can someone please get the phillip seymour hoffman episode. If it's up can someone post the link. thanks

He was my all-time favorite MALE movie star and I feel bad that he so under-estimated his
early work, which included some of my all-time favorite films such as "Hud," "Sweet Bird of
Youth" and "Cat On a Hot Tin Roof." He deserved to win the Oscar for "Hud" and also for
"The Verdict" and it's incomprehensible to me that he only won once in competition and they
made him wait so late in life for it. Same with Geraldine Page. Really glad I got to see this
episode which was the first time for me.

the only actor that deeply explained the 'craft' of acting.
Second was keitel.
Plus the questions were quite stupid.
