I uploaded this because "Speaking of the Weather" had special closing music used only in that cartoon. This was also the second MM to have "Merrily We Roll Along" in the closing titles.
@ParamountCartoons I take it the AAP edit of this cartoon clipped the end gag and cut straight to the closing title card? That IS a reference to Warner Bros after all...
Chronology of 1936-1937 season Merrie Melodies with actual logo music at end:
*Plenty of Money and You (July 31, 1937; re-released December 9, 1944)
*Speaking of the Weather (this one) (September 4, 1937; re-released July 21, 1945)
*Dog Daze (September 18, 1937)

@ParamountCartoons
The first was to have "Merrily..." In the closing titles was "Plenty Of Money and You"

@ParamountCartoons
And "Dog Daze" was the last one. A new arrangement of the opening and closing music was used starting with "I Wanna Be a Sailor."

@Landaux Also when the cartoon was released in the GC's, the standard 1941-1954 closing music played. That's why this post was made.

@BadBooking
BTW, the end title used on the GC was from "She Was an Acrobat's Daughter". That's why the end titles on the GC fade out so fast.
