I know HTML far more advanced than this, but there's always something to learn. I learnt the difference between strong and b, and em and i. I learnt the new standards of adding a / to a self-closing tag (used to think it's unnecessary). But I have a question. What's the difference between id and class?
Damn, I learned HTML but stopped using it. Now my syntax is lame etc. I've got to learn this all over again. CSS I never learned. I'm lazy and would rather study photoshop
Great tutorials, thanks; very clear and helpful to new chaps like me.
I found that the "Sublime Text" download only results in a .exe file (Windows only) and is also only free for a limited evaluation period, requiring the user to purchase a license to continue using it. So, for Mac users there is "Text Wrangler" which seems pretty good as far as I can tell so far; is genuinely free and genuinely for Mac OS X.
@bestdriv3r You're right, there actually are way, way are too many floating around... of very bad quality. I ran into the fact when I wanted to learn html/css a while ago. Therefore, it's nice to have a nice looking one from a trusted site like this. So you know they're not just going to bail in the tenth video when they realized what a ugly, unfunctional mess they've made.
When are the the next videos coming out? I is there some js/ajax tutorials in the pipeline?
Nice tutorial, even with the small mistakes. Oh, and "attribute" (as a noun) isn't pronounced like that. It's ATTribute, not A-ttribute. An HTML tag has an ATTribute, and you can A-ttribute that to how HTML evolved. =)
Really keeping it old school.

You don't really need to close the img or br tags now because HTML5 is not as strict as xhtml

@lifehacker what's the advantage of using a text edit to write HTML or CSS over a program like iWeb?

As always, you're doing an amazing job. I already knew all of this, but it doesn't mean it's not super useful for someone else. Thanks a lot!
