I give this an average, not because it is a poor video, but because it is a waste. That house looks nicer than average. It is one thing to burn a dilapidated structure to train and study fire behavior in, but in this case, the structure did not appear be in poor repair. It was obviously of very high quality construction considering the slow burn through (roof & walls). Here we are in a resource challenged world and collapsing economy and wastes like this go on? Amazing!

I graduated from High School in Berlin, Md 10 years ago, and haven't looked back since. I see that nothing has changed in hick town. This shit is actually entertaining to these back wood idiots. @buddahblazer215 Hey i sort of agree that yes it must be entertaining to them, but remember this is a training exercise. Training is what makes sure the firefighters are ready and able to protect a home. It could be your home they are protecting next!

And you seem to think its dumb to risk your life without pay, but volunteers save millions of dollars in the average town compared to all-paid fire departments. Nothing against paid guys, I am one myself, but volunteers are necessary in many towns
