Your identification of the vocals is correct. It's hard to know whether it's about the same girl or maybe just a similar situation. It's also worth noting that they sometimes sing parts that the other brother wrote. Just depends what is best for the song. So it's possible that both parts were wrote by the same person, even though Scott sings the one and Seth sings the other.
