remember Alot of the player of WoW are only there do to their is no Warhammer MMO. second WoW is running scaried do to the they a pushing their new expancen so early. It took them 2-3 yeah to tell us about TBC now that WAR been growing they are pushing WotLK to early and it going be a joke with 10 million DeathKnight.

warcraft came from warhammer and starcraft was from warhammer40k and made more money being a video game rather than a tabletop game. So, being the origional designer of these games I think warhammer online is going to kick Wow's scrawny little A55!!

you know blizzard has taken ideas from Gamesworkshop (the creators of Warhammer and warhammer40k) which at the time earned them money and was a good idea but wrong. Warhammer was a tabletop game and pretty expensive to purchase the tabletop pieces and not very convenient because you have to have people play at the same place. And warcraft came from this idea.

I would have to say that the PVP battles seem a bit slow. if you want massive attacks it should be more skill oriented and faster.

I want them to take elements from both WoW and Guild Wars in this, really. WoW's complexity, depth and higher level cap (which should be easy with all the background for the Warhammer World), but Guild Wars' combat/item system that means player skill matters, not just their character level and wealth.

but id say in wow player skill matter, the problem is that after 60 the gear ends up overcoming the skill, since theres no more skill to get and theres a lot of new good gears to get... but wow pvp is a good one

It's quite a joke to say that WoW takes skill. You can either be below average or average of playing your class. Since the classes are all so similar it's just if you play right or not. Guild Wars takes timing/tactics and coordination which are the main elements of true skill IMO

Warhammer has a long story, from the paintable figurine strategy game, oral RPG game to computer games, Dark Omen and warhammer mark of chaos.

Just like Blizzard and its warcraft serie.

Both have experience in what they do. I didn't play DAoC, but many people said the pvp was very addicting.

Personaly, I have 4 level 60.. I'm bored of wow and i'm looking forward for that game.

Ummm are you serious? Lol WoW is completely copying Warhammer in every way... Warhammer also started out as a table top game and converted to an RTS... Warhammer is also a PvP game being made by the masters of PvP... Mythic Online completely dominates the MMO-Universe with Dark Age of Camelot's PvP...

Warcraft was warhammer RTS, but games workshop pulled out before the game was released. Blizz then changed just enough of the game to not get sued when it came out.

Wahammer is what warcraft was based on. Howver the two games are harly similar today, and can only be called similar when taken at a glance.
