look nice except the neck is painted and it feels weird to play a painted neck. and it has no whammy bar. and no locking nut.

I rather this monterey than those shown on the fernandes site. the color and the inlays are more to my liking!

@topografer have you looked at the newest models yet? they even more beautiful! especially the the black cherry burst one. it has gold hardware, pearloid binding and a quilted maple top. you know, just see for yourself ;)

It's an amazing item that I think suits any guitartist! And also, you are able to by the sustainer pickup separately. It's just more of a hassle, though, to put it in. Very sweet review on the Monterey Elite!

I dont understand In Fernandes web site says the Monterrey Elite comes in three colours:  Elite is available in See-Thru Black, See-Thru Black Cherry and Cherry Sunburst. But this one is white. Ive seen black ones also. The fact is that I wanna buy it, but I dont like the colours that appear in the web site. Can anybody tell me if this is a special series or something like that?

this monterrey is the older version and is still being sold by some stores

kinda. the elites have the duncans and the sustainer...the deluxes now come in the white, but have emgs. the elites only come in quilted tops
