The source engine is easy to mod, has an sdk that is simple and has havok physics I also have a bunch of people willing to help mod if needed

Acclaim has fallen out of business several years ago, sadly.

It was a great company, it developed such great games.

I've just emailed Acclaim asking about Re-volt (if they still own the rights, etc) and if there would be any problems if a group of fans starts doing a remake.

That's not a bad idea. Whenever I have time for this, I'll be totally on it.

Even if Acclaim don't accept, I think we should do then a game "inspirated in the classic re-volt" and give it another name, just that good (unfortunely, that would hurt our game's popularity)

@Kirbyguy222: I don't know. But I gave up the idea already since I don't have much time to think about it now AND since it would require a bunch of sophisticated physics programming, which's far beyond what I'm able to do yet.

Yet, I would be extremely pleased to play a new Re-Volt with modern graphics.
