Hi I was looking to get a savannah cat. I actually love cats and dogs but cannot get a dog because I'm out of town and work sometimes 12 hours in a day. Do you recommend a savannah? Are they OK being left 12 hours at a time? Can they be left alone for a couple days or a weekend (with the TV on and plenty of toys and an automatic feeder?)
Also are savannahs calm sometimes? do they like to cuddle/ sleep in bed with people?

@ash143831 Also, ash, which one is more hyper your pomeranian or savannah cat? I was raised with 2 pomeranians but they have passed. I cannot get a dog due to my apartment, but am interested in a savannah cat. are they pretty independent and good demeanored?
@freddyphredphred they both have their hyper moments. They're like any animal, some are independent and some aren't. My Savannah loves the company of people. I have another domestic cat that he hangs out with, having the company of another cat helps him too. :)
